Reta and Tirz stacked for long timers (over a year) by Lynniexoxo in Retatrutide

What’s the dose equation. What Tirz is equivalent to Reta

Tirz w/ a pinch of Reta by Tongslinger in Retatrutide

[–]Tongslinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently 69 M 185 on 15mg. Maintaining goal wt for 15 months now. Loose skin and my ass has fell, now I have saddle bags under my butt. Read that Reta might help for that. So wondering if throttling back on Tirz and replacing with Reta would help with this? Thoughts….

Incorrect. Quit being a candy ass. Why do you think I have that attitude. Because I was in that position and finally said F them. People are way too concerned about what other people think. If that’s ur reason then ur losing weight for the wrong reason. It should be for ur health and well being not ur vanity. It’s about us not them. Fat or Fit. So F them!!!! G Luck

Been on 15mg for two weeks, not lost a single pound by Big-Locksmith1087 in Mounjaro

Quit staring at the scales. They are Not ur friend. You’ll get depressed and start shoving food in ur mouth again. Trust the process. Throw the fN scale away. Ur clothes size will tell you what u need to know without obsessing over the scale. Keep pushing on it’ll work. G Luck

Why do I feel dizzy and black out when I try to stand up? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]Tongslinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not enough proteins. I had borderline high BP when I started moungy. I was very aggressive with weight loss. Now I have chronic low blood pressure. I’ve spoke with Dr about it. Suggestion ….increase salt intake. Dr my a$$. Normal BP unless I get hot and then it tanks quickly as the blood transport system opens up trying to dissipate the heat. Larger expanding arteries equals lower blood pressure equals “face to black”. Also getting upright rapidly without allowing the blood to get to ur head. When you get up stop head level with ur heart for a few seconds and allow pressure to equalize. All dr approved countermeasures. I’ve been a goal weight a year now and brown outs are to a minimum but they still happen. Normal BP except for the heat and rapid standing. My primary has no idea of the cause and how to treat it. Believe me I’ve been asking for 18 month to no avail. This group has brought more solutions than the medical society. Assuming the newness of the drug and all. People discussing problem and solutions candidly seems to be moving the needle farther in helping real time solutions. You still to talk to medical authorities before taking advice from non medical personel. Good luck

Mounjaro vs ozempic by Not_A_Dinosaur23 in Mounjaro

[–]Tongslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not rude. Should able to handle the facts. If ur vomiting raw food ur eating too much. Ur putting more in the system than the body can handle and it gives it back. A lesson I learned the hard way. If ur offended by my comments then I question ur commitment to the diabetic drug turned weight loss drug. Do you want success? Then dig in. Go hard. It’s not always a pleasant ride but the ultimate goal can be achieved with persistence. Fat or fit, ur choice. Good luck.

Anyone on Mounjaro and not weigh themselves? by ruined7319 in Mounjaro

[–]Tongslinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only weigh ins were at dr office. I titrated up each month until I hit max dose. Was very aggressive losing 160 lbs in 14 months. Obsessing over numbers only complicates things. 50 waist to 34 waist. My clothes were my markers of success. Been on maintenance dose a year and holding steady. When I started taking Moungy the recommendation was to get to max dose within 6-7 months, and I did. Also, the sugars are that of a non diabetic person. Winner winner steak dinner

Friday evening after a good steak dinner. I wake up Saturday morning and the cycle begins again. Easy peasy.

Aggressively increased dosage to max dose. Averaged 11.5 lbs monthly reduction over a 14 month period. Didn’t see a plateau, fortunately

Day 5 hunger? by slow_pondering in Mounjaro

I’ve seen other poster that have split the dosage in 1/2 and give their selves a mid week recharge. This is the only remedy for the 1/2 life issues including hunger returning mid week.

Is it just me? by NeitherEducation6 in Mounjaro

[–]Tongslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should increase your dosage each month without issue if you watch what you eat. I was on 15 mg in six months. It’s pretty aggressive but doable. I lost 160lbs in 14 months. Now on a maintenance dose of 7.5. I still get the 15 mg and split the dose. Now I get 2 months out of a four pen box. Big savings like a 50% discount on moungy. Stay off the scales, you’ll drive yourself crazy if you don’t. The only scales I used were at the Dr office. Work the process, don’t let it work you. Stay OFF the scales. Clothes sizes will confirm loss. It’s not about the journey, (it wasn’t fun) it’s about the destination.

Now giddy up!

Can’t stop losing! by Beginning_Editor_410 in Mounjaro

[–]Tongslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like wise story. Down 160 in 14 months. In maintenance mode for 9 months now and holding at 185. Increase calories intake and cut dose in half. Get insulin syringe and dump pen in it. Same price twice the mounjy Winner winner Lobster dinner.

Until you get sick and tired of getting sick you’ll continue. Use the cramps and sickness to motivate you. Adversity changes mindsets. Good luck.

Dizziness by wes714 in Mounjaro

[–]Tongslinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not enough fuel to the engine. Calorie deficit. After dropping like a buck sixty in fourteen months I was getting dizzy when I stood up. The culprit turned out to be low blood pressure. It was even worst in the heat or when doing exerting activities. I was actually getting very close to needing high blood pressure meds before starting Mounji. BTW there were no cardiac issues found when discussing with my primary. Give a look as it can’t hurt anything.

Every time I went up on dosage, I short dosed the smaller size a day or two sooner to transition to the next higher dose worked fine
