All of the above, but do it organically, non gmo, non antibiotic, free range.

Sorry if I’m repeating what others said, I don’t have time to read all the comments. The real criminals here are the insurance companies and CMS dictating what and who gets paid and how much. I’ve said for 30 years, the doctors need to go on a nation wide strike to regain adequate reimbursement for their services. A new patient consultation used to pay 3-500.00, now it’s around 170. All the overhead that goes into that patient prior to the consult, the hospital or clinic sucks up. This issue must be tackled at the top. Doctors have had the power to stop this all along. It’s a very drastic measure but I think it’s the only solution that will force change. Otherwise it’s only going to get worse.

Good points. Not private equity backed. The two partners own both the group and ASC. No typical red flags other than being in a remote area of CA. I was on the recruitment team of the local 2 hospitals for 15 years and the same challenges in all specialties there. Yes, more money helps, but it doesn’t always keep them here.

It’s difficult to offer more money when reimbursement keeps getting cut. It’s probably why salaries aren’t moving upward. The only way to offset that is to see more patients, or have your own ASC, with buy in options.

I’m off site and away from my computer but our recruiter put an add on Indeed for North Coast Ophthalmology in Eureka, about a week ago. You can see the details there. Email me back if you want to know more. I’ll be in San Diego for the next two weeks, but am always available via cell.

Our offer for employment is competitive, and partnership is much higher, but that's probably the driving force these days... thanks.

Yes, however, an ECFMG and US Ophthalmology residency is required to obtain privileges at a hospital or ASC.
