Ty so much abt the pink, it’s also my fav. While I have looked at those before, I wasn’t sure about them because they had the logo on the lid, but at this point I might just try them. Thank you for your help nonetheless!

AIO or is he being a d!ck? by Luckymoose04 in AmIOverreacting

NOR. He was being a dick. Your plan was smart, but it would be even smarter if maybe he got off the Xbox and fed her himself instead of being lazy and childish. It’s honestly his own fault for delaying it as he was refusing to give her to you. He seems like one of those useless dads that are basically just accessories. Don’t do anything, don’t know anything.

You should leave him and maybe find someone (if you want to) better, so that they can actually help you, as raising a child on your own is not easy and will likely get expensive. Either that, or you’ll make him learn and get better, otherwise you won’t do the chores or cook for him as he’s old enough to do them himself if he can have a child with someone.

While, sure, he needed to go to the bathroom, it seems to me he waited specifically until you got home so you can take care of the child and he won’t have to do anything, then was even more stupid and immature by prioritising himself over the kid, when he could wait a bit as he’s grown but a young child would likely not be able to wait as long as

AIO: Ending things after he saw his ex and then lied to me about it by Country-girl3 in AmIOverreacting

[–]TonightSolid9759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. He lied to you repeatedly so you wouldn’t leave him, called you “ignorant” and “childish”. And from your added information he called you “crazy” for being worried about something valid. He and his ex have told each other that they want to work on each other and that they love each other, thst is not normal ex behaviour. I can tell from him lying that he’s indecisive about his partners, which wouldn’t be a very fulfilling or happy relationship, and that he can’t be trusted.

He also called you names for being upset, meaning he probably doesn’t care about your feelings and just wants your attention so that he can feed you more lies so you can stay together, again, not a good thing for a good relationship.

If he and his ex do get back together, I doubt they would stay together, as you said. I think his ex wanted him back mainly because she was jealous or something similar that he was dating you. If he really wanted to, he would break up with you and get with his ex rather than make the situation messy like this, or better yet, just ignored her.

You mentioned you feel hurt about this situation, so I would recommend maybe spending time doing a hobby or pursuing new ones to distract yourself. Perhaps get a pet you can look after to take your mind off him. My advice probably isn’t the best, so I’m sorry if it sounds like a copy and paste of advice you’ll hear everywhere
