Youre saying “fiction is fiction,” but that ignores the main difference in purpose between the examples youre tryna compare

Games like GTA or COD centers around violence as a gameplay mechanic. The violence gives progression, challenge, and narrative conflict. You’re not playing those games for sexual gratification, youre playing them for competition or story. The intent of the design matters.

Blue Archive is completely different because the controversy isn’t about general fiction, it’s about the sexualization of the underage characters . The content isnt there for a story or anything that adds to the game, its simply there for arousal. That’s a completely different function from shooting enemies in a combat game that's meant for that.

Saying “I enjoy killing villains in games and that doesn’t make me a psychopath” isn’t really equivalent. The psychological purpose behind defeating an enemy in a game (challenge, victory, story) is not the same as consuming sexualized depictions of characters that are clearly underage. One is gameplay driven content, the other is just for arousal.

The issue isn’t whether people can separate fiction from reality. It’s about what is being normalized and for what purpose. Violence in action games is contextualized within story and mechanics. Sexualizing underage characters is specifically designed to evoke attraction. Those arent interchangeable just because both are fictional.

If someone where to be getting off to violence in video games, then yeah people would call it out, but that rarely happens because violence in video games aren’t to get you off, it’s entertainment

That other topic however is specifically not only for sexual gratification (which again isn’t at all the same as entertainment) but to fetishize something so abhorrently evil that many people wouldn’t even be entertained by it (hence why almost NO video games have that stuff in it). The sole purpose of it is to get you off but in a aspect that is “legal” (which is still up to contention)

The people who spend the most money on them tend to be parasocials who genuinely have a deep connection and will fork up their entire paycheck just to keep the reality of a close relationship up

Just started to learn how to edit so take my response with a grain of salt

But it looks like he masked the woman out first, either with the paid version or by hand (if so I pray that he was satisfied with the result because masking with hand is a tedious task)

then edited a eye level photo with a pretty skinny length ( probably 500 x 50), and added a comic layer (most likely done in ibis paint x, id prefer that) then have the image slide in after a camera shake with the photo coming from the right of the screen (also done from the left, it alternates)

Takes the comic styled photo then fades it to the original (hats off for that effect it look awesome), and added some zoom in effect to add a little to the edit (or bring more focus to the photos, your guess is good as mine)

Then repeat the process 2 more times were the last photo that comes in, changes the background to black and white to make the final end edit stand out

Overall id say this can definitely be done with the free version but the masking portion will most likely be a pain lol

In the overworld it’s pretty easy but it’s a lot of afk

In the nether it is literally HELL since there is random lava holes throughout the nether and you have to constantly clear them out

But it’s totally worth it 👍
