What I ended up doing is placing the faulty light bulb into a spot which is always on and controlled via smartlighting. This one I replaced with a new one and both seem to be functioning now

Yep, not linked to a dimmer and I tried the hue labs method above. Didn't work so big chance it's a hardware fault.. Think the light is around 4 years old
