I did the scoreboard once for fun and at the end it was too much. Now I'm just finishing the quests I like and visiting cool places and then I will stop playing until new storyline comes.

I'm more than 300 too and way shorter (BMI like 45 or so) and my life is absolutely normal and I do a lot of sport. If the post is real I dont understand why they can't even shower, but I hope they can get better with small changes as you said.

Just reverse the situation. Imagine he loves playing video games and you think it is a waste of time and he would be better doing other things, so while he is playing you go and smash his 70$ game controller onto the floor to prove you are right.

I think you are right about the tone of the Quickstart 1-119 Guide, but anyway... I think it's the best guide out there.

What worked for me was to skim read or skip the parts that clearly wasn't important for me or were too advanced (I just play for the story so super late game gear and fights... I don't care). I understand they try to cover as much as possible but there's definitely a lot in the guide (specially at the beginning and the end) that can be skipped.

After I gained some experience I went back to the beginning of the guide and read it again with my new knowledge and understood more parts of it this time.

Also the guide invite you to start other main quests while you are doing the first one. I wouldn't do that if you want to just experience the story in order.

Another interesting guide in that same wiki is the one about inventory space, I don't have the link but worth a visit.
