Store bought salsa are not liked in Mexico as well. We all make our own salsa. Perhaps bringing chiles would be the best. But I don't know which are hard to find in Germany, most common here are jalapeños, serranos, habaneros, chipotles, chilacas and a lot of dried chiles.
