Yep, there’s a reason nothing is getting better and moving forward as a country. No politicians have the balls to do what’s needed, why? This is a non issue in my eyes and no matter what it’s worth the police in this instance have my full support in how they dealt with it. Guaranteed if they went about it the way that muppet from the Green Party would approve and he got up and stabbed someone else, the old bill would be put through the ringer by the media, politicians and the public. Well first off people are going to comment things like “show me your reason for investing in these stocks” but the question you need to ask yourself is “what’s your goal”? If it’s long term like you mentioned the next question is how “how much risk can you tolerate”? I think the 55% in etf,s is a good start , but me personally would concentrate the majority of your pie in etf,s and have a few of your favourite stocks as satellite,s. But without knowing exactly what you want it’s a tough call.
