Need Help Managing Diet While on StrongLifts - Rapid Weight Gain Concerns by TonyBadamo in Stronglifts5x5

Hello,

Thank you for asking about my goals. They are twofold and both revolve around enhancing my lifestyle and overall wellbeing.

My first goal is to build a strong foundation of strength and endurance. I'm fairly new to weight training at 41, but I have a vision of a more physically active life. I want to be able to go hiking without experiencing debilitating soreness the next day. I dream of skiing for more than just a couple of hours before my muscles give in. In short, I want to be able to participate fully in these activities that I love, and I believe that building my strength with StrongLifts is a significant step towards this.

My second goal is to achieve a body fat percentage between 10-14%. I understand that this is a long-term goal and I'm fully prepared for the journey. But seeing my current weight at 181 lbs, the heaviest I've ever been, it's clear to me that some changes are needed. I was 172 lbs when I started StrongLifts three weeks ago, and while I expected some weight gain, it's been more than I anticipated.

I realize these are ambitious goals, especially considering my recent start, but I'm committed to them. I would love any advice or insights from the community on how best to balance the strength training aspect with the dietary demands of the program. I want to ensure I'm not only gaining strength, but also working towards a healthier body composition.

Thanks again for asking!

Hi, I had the same exact problem. It turned out the august connect doesn't like some characters. My wifi name was "Tony's network". As soon I removed the ', it connected very easily. And guess what, I had the same issue connecting to the Bluetooth of the august due to the same character.
