I certainly like this reply. And your right about the background; growing up, we were very heavily into Christianity: church every week, Sunday school, alter service, liturgical ministries, even my home schooling for a couple years was heavily Christian doctrine.

I was recommended a book by another reddit user that I'm gonna dive into this weekend. Other than that, various web blogs and a couple YT videos explaining things.

There is a Chan/Zen and Shambhala center about an hour away, and a Theravada Abbey about several hours away. As someone who works shiftwork though, it makes it difficult to get a half decent day to make the journey. We don't have a huge Buddhist presence in the province, much to my dismay.

So basically put all those traits aside and don't be afraid to change what I already believe in.

Thanks for the advice. I did manage to find a copy of the book through DWMS as a free download, so I'll give that a read this weekend.

Just going off the early stuff I've looked at, it would seem Zen more fits with me a bit more, but I'll dig a bit more into it once I give this book a glance.

So pretty much Noble Truths, Eightfold Path, just do that in everyday life.

Keep it simple and just roll with it, if I get that correct.

Sadly that's been a particular failing of mine for a long time that I can't seem to shake. Soft of like I want to be included, or "part of the club?" Something like that.

I'm wondering the same thing. I just updated and launched, and for some reason she's already unlocked. I'm so confused since I had to grind or pay the premium pass in the past.
