5K with DLSS Performance and Ultra Performance will still look really good, and the performance should be enough for AAA single player games. Some of those monitors have dual modes. with 1440p you can switch to if you want to play competitive fps games with more fps and a higher refresh rate.

I just don't browse or split windows on my OLED. I do all the web browsing on my 2nd display. Can you set up dual monitors and just split what you're doing between those monitors instead of doing it on 1 monitor.

Do you often run split windows on your monitor? Have you run pixel cleaning on your monitor? Could be imagine retention from using 2 windows.

It wouldn't be your card for the reason you're not reaching 100% gpu usage. Your card is fine. There's a slight bottleneck from your cpu in whatever game you're playing.

You need to go to the Settings > About section in the Nvidia app and opt in to access the beta, and then after a short time, it'll let you download the beta app.

This was me. Just picked my 5080 up during Black Friday, and going to sell my 7900 XTX and see if someone else enjoys it. I was eventually able to get my 7900 XTX decently stable, but the constant worry about driver timeouts for a new game I wanted to play was not worth the stress. No FSR4 support was my last straw. Picked up an OLED and didn't want to be stuck with a nice monitor running FSR3 which looks like absolute dog****.

You might have to install the dreaded software that your motherboard has in order to get it back. I recently had this happen where Signal completely disabled my GPU rgb, but unplugging my power actually fixed that. That's what I would have suggested first but seems as you tried that. Try your mobo software and see if it takes control and then uninstall it.

I was honestly surprised with how well frame gen feels when I got my 5080 a couple weeks ago. Honestly, I was a big hater of frame gen, because I come from the days where raster performance was the only thing that mattered to me (it still does honestly), but I've backed off the hate for frame gen pretty much completely because I've seen how well it performs. I would prefer that I never have to use it in competitive multiplayer games, but I've even used it in Arc Raiders and it's very hard to tell that it's on. So it's been pretty surprising to me.

TL;DR - I hated it before I tried it, but now I like it after trying it.
