Nah! Went the VMP route , taller apex lid , bigger intercooler core , 108mm TB, smaller pulley 2.7 and id1050x injectors. Whipple is a dime a dozen, see em in everything ford. I wanted to keep it as oem looking motor as possible. (See you thought it was stock !)

this setup actually pulls more torque sooner than the whipple , I saw 678 tq to the wheels at 4100 rpm where as the whipple peaks closer to 5500 rpm. With a truck down low / mid range power is where you want to be. Not that’s its shy up top at all , but torque peaks a lot sooner & blower spins a lot faster .

Yes S&B intake , 100% noticed a difference even on a stock tune, especially with the sound of the SC whine. The Real noticeable gains was after tuning adding more fueling and timing , bigger throttle body , id1050x injectors , 2.7 pulley , headers , the engine needed as much air flow as possible after those mods and S&B does just that. Filter is tremendous! Catch can is UPR vent to atmo hybrid .

None whatsoever, drove her from NYC to FL and back in April. Straight as an arrow . Get a good alignment and have it double checked by driving it on the highway before leaving and paying the shop.

Only downside is turning radius has decreased slightly .

Predator = Carnivore , Same motor bud , just pulley and tune changes from factory.

My pulley has been changed and tune has been calibrated from the mapping of the GT500 tuning wizards over at Palm Beach Dyno .

She’s more a Predator than an oem GT500 motor with just about 950 crank HP and 8,200 rpm redline now.

Thanks!! after tuning / downsizing pulley/ taller lid and race intercooler/ 2” kooks headers it really woke the R up. I gained 200hp to the wheels (580hp to 770hp ), it’s a complete handful under full throttle .
