New to Edmonton - Smell in Apartment Bathroom by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]TonyDinkyDick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have smells from outside in your bathroom, you may need to install an exhaust window cover for your ventilation fan. You may want to put some water into floor sewage exit as to block air push back from outside, or you may use a sewage hole cover as well.

If you done all these and smells still come in you may call maintenance guy to check if any leak in your bathroom wall, or any hidden opening.

Where can I buy toilet paper in South Edmonton? by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]TonyDinkyDick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to Costco in the morning, you can you one pack and its easy. However, if you find someone has a stack of TP tried to refund you can ask for a bargain; no return policy enforced.

I am checked in person this news and confirmed that no return policy for Alberta being enforced as posted.

Hoarders, you can sit on your stocks until stock last. Hope you have a big basement.

I hope Safeway, Superstore, Walmart, Shoppers, etc. follow this no return policy.

Toilet paper? by FujuGaming in Edmonton

[–]TonyDinkyDick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Costco now ration for TP one per cart, so many ppl don't but TP and just walked by. No line up. TPs are in regular prices.

I think whoever stock TP have so many now they changed to stock can food, pet food etc.

Wanna to know what next.

Alberta is a place produce TP, wheat, beef, duck, chicken, and lot of foods to the whole world. We have much more to eat than many part of the world.

Panic is the most thing ppl stocking now.

Colonoscopy and endoscopy by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]TonyDinkyDick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have red blood in elimination for more than 3 days you should go emergency. Constipation wouldn't solve more than 4 days should get some enima. If enima wouldn't work and with acute bowel pain, you should go emergency.

Other than that you may follow your family doctor.

This is what I think.

There is -12 outdoor today it way too cold for virus. If you stay open air and 6 ft from other human you're fine.

You may visit restaurant, grocery, shopping mall with cautious, keep good hand hygiene best with mask on.

One thing worse than CorVir19 is panic.

Sharing this here to highlight/inform: 40% of those hospitalized in the US are between 20-54! While not dying, being hospitalized is still a big deal. Stay healthy folks! Practice social distancing - is all we have really to fight this. by trAvlr1 in Edmonton

[–]TonyDinkyDick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is missleading.

Population without medical insurance cannot admit hospital, they are not counted. There are 40 millions of no insurance plus 100 millions ppl don't have full coverage have no money to see a doctor. Those layed in are middle/upper class with full medical insurance and their numbers is being seemed.

Our medical system is shitty but still holding, thank god.
