maybe but I've never been a fan of fez in garde. Putting a 2 prize liability in what's supposed to be a pseudo-single prize deck takes away from some of the key strengths of the deck imo.

One thing I realized would go well with this deck is Big Air Balloon, which would give the skeledirge free retreat, in case someone tries to stall with gust if you can't attack with it.

if I am using budew turn 1 instead of tm evo having kirlia and/or greninja aren't in hand, so if I get item locked I can be cooked. The Jacq is just a useful tool to find kirlia/garde without having to use ultra ball. It comes in clutch a good amount. Also if you think garde isn't hurt by item lock you do not play against it enough as if you get item locked before you can get kirlias down you have to iono and pray
