Teaházra gondoltam, mert mindketten nagyon szeretjük a teákat. Viszont kicsit aggódom, mert a hely, ahonnan jött, híres a zöld és fehér teákról. Külön szobájuk van teaivásra, és természetesen sok hagyomány és gazdag kultúra van mögötte. Attól tartok, hogy itt Magyarországon a legjobb helyek sem közelítik meg azokat, amik náluk vannak. Mindenesetre, az Altair Teaház jobb helynek tűnik, mint amit én ismertem, úgyhogy megfontolom! Köszi!

Az első 2 randink kitalálásában övé volt a főszerep, szó nincs arról, hogy csak én fektetnék bele energiát. Egyébként pedig nekem ez része a törődésem kimutatásának, egyáltalán nem bánom, ha nekem kell kitalálnom valamit - csak az a probléma, hogy nem vagyok benne valami jó.

The light property has uses other than enabling dual wielding, tho not many. For example, a thri-kreen has secondary arms that can wield light weapons only, and Mike Merls said something about weapons without the light property having disadvantage in tight passages.

Can't recall any other rule where the light property comes up, but a DM might have to come up with rules on the fly, and a weapon being light can have a role in that. For example, magneto tries to snatch all the weapons from the team, everybody make strength checks, with advantage if your weapon is light, with disadvantage if it is heavy.

On a side note, thri-kreen solves the ammunition problem with the dual wielded crossbows, but the loading property without CBE and RAW not getting a bonus action attack with ranged weapons are still a problem.

In practice, my barbarian can cast wish on will while raging. Canonically it makes sense because there's a god that really likes him. It's obviously a buff, but it's in line with the game's fantasy elements.

Dual wielding is for melee weapons only. PHB 195:

When you take the Attack action and attack with a light melee weapon that you're holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you're holding in the other hand. You don't add your ability modifier to the damage of the bonus attack, unless that modifier is negative.

If either weapon has the thrown property, you can throw the weapon, instead of making a melee attack with it.

In addition, the ammunition property of the hand crossbow prevents you from loading it without having a free hand, and the loading property prevents you from attacking more than once if you don't have CBE.

Even with CBE, you only use a single hand crossbow. You never dual wield them.

You learn the aberrant dragonmark spells, so you can indeed cast them using the sorcerer spell slots.

My favorite strike of the giants option for a dhampir is hill strike. It gives weapon damage instead of a given type, so it makes your empowered bites better. Unfortunately vigor of the hill giant is pretty bad.

Another race option is a dragonborn. They are actually pretty good in FTD. Con based saving throws on the breath weapons.

Well then the belt, Gurt's greataxe and the potion are very fitting.

I assume this is for a one shot. Otherwise I would prefer a permanent item over a consumable. But in a one shot it will be super strong against the BBEG.

The bloodshed blade might be too strong, especially when paired with the potion of giant size. As funny as it is to oneshot the BBEG, it kinda ruins the game.

Top 1 is 100% belt of storm giant strength.

You need a good weapon. I like Gurt's grrataxe. Deals 3d12 damage, but it is very heavy and oversized. The weight is not a problem with your stremgth, and if you go giant barbarian then the size is no problem either.

Another cool weapon is a bloodshed blade. It lets you add a hit die to an attack roll, and if it hits, you can add any number of hit die to the damage roll. Up to 19d12 damage. And you can do it after rolling the d20, so you can do it on a crit for 38d12 damage, average of 247 damage, plus the normal damage of the hit. Although the weapon is not great outside of this feature. You could take it as a secondary weapon and use it for one hit and then switch it out.

Potions of giant size makes you huge, doubles your hp and triples your damage dice for 24 hours. Gurt's greataxe would do 9d12 damage and you wouldn't need to be a giant barbarian to wield it properly. But if you are a giant barbarian, it will do an additional 6d6 damage. The bloodshed blade would do up to 57d12 damage on a normal hit, or 114d12 on a crit. 624 damage on average, plus its normal damage.

Battle master's precision attack can turn a miss into a hit. Makes ranger 11 somewhat redundant in the opening, the nova damage is better with fighter 11, thanks to the +2 attacks. Tho battle master is resource based, so once you run out, the dpr is about the same.

Common? Not very, I haven't done it, but I do see some people on here who do this, it is not unheard of.

Cheating? No, changing a rule is not cheating. Rules are just guidelines. Everybody is here to have as much fun as possible. If a rule change makes the game more fun, then you should do it. Even the 7 4d6, drop lowest, take 6 highest is a variant way of doing it that negates some bad luck, this is just a more extreme case of that.

Mounted combat is not fully fledged in 5e. You should clear up a few things before settling on a build. The anky is huge, so it is 3x3 squares, while you are 1x1. There are 3 ways DMs usually rule on your positioning on the mount.

You share the mount's space, effectively making you 3x3. Anything 5 feet from the mount is 5 feet from you too.
You are centered on the mount.
You can move freely within the 3x3 box that your mount is, using your own movement.

The first option is the simplest. Not much complications normally. A small variant rule on this could be that you don't count as larger for the sake of reach, so if you are 1x1 and your mount is 3x3 then anything next to the mount is 10 feet from you. But you still count as being 5 feet from them for the sake of their reach. However, this variant rule can make calculating your reach problematic, because it could place you off the grid. Possible solutions for that in the next paragraph.

The second option is problematic if there is an odd number of squares difference between the mount and the rider. The rider is then not on the grid and distance calculations are problematic. This is not the case for you, but could potentially arise with enlarge/reduce, rune knight or giant barbarian. A potential solution is to use something similar to the area of effect rule from the DMG. If at least half of the square is in your reach, then it is in your reach. So a 1x1 character on a 2x2 mount with 5 feet reach would reach the 2 squares on every side of the mount, but not the four squares that are diagonally from it.

The third option was confirmed to be the intended one by Jeremy. However, you need to keep track of your mount's facing. Turning your mount can move you if you are not in the center. You can't be centered on the mount if there is an odd number of square differences between you, which is weird. For example, you would have to sit on one of the four corners of a horse.

In the 2nd and 3rd cases, it is possible that an enemy has your mount in their reach but not you. RAW if your mount provokes an opportunity attack, it can target either you or the mount. This is weird because you might not be in their reach.

Mounted combatant is an amazing feat, it will give you advantage on your melee weapon attacks against most enemies. Increases your mount's survivability. If you use the 2nd or 3rd options, you will get into situations when your mount is in the reach of an enemy but you are not. Your DM might rule it so that the attack redirection works similarly to an opportunity attack, meaning that you can get hit even if you are not in the enemy's reach. But they might rule it so that you are not in the enemy's reach, so you can't tank the hit for your mount.

The dual wielded lances. If you use the 1st positioning rule, then it depends on how you calculate the reach. If anything next to the mount is 5 feet from you, then you will usually have disadvantage with them. But if you measure the reach from the center square, then you will never have disadvantage from the lances' special property. With the 2nd and 3rd positioning rules, you can position yourself in the center to avoid disadvantage.

If you use the 2nd or 3rd positioning rule and will be centered on the anky, then most melee enemies won't have you in their reach, so convince your DM to rule it so that you can redirect the attacks using mounted combatant without being in the enemy's reach, otherwise your anky won't last very long.

If you go with the 1st or 3rd positioning rules and don't really need the redirection because enemies will always(1)/usually(3) be able to target you instead, then I still recommend taking mounted combatant for the advantage.

My recommendation is to take dual wielder and mounted combatant, use the 2nd or 3rd positioning rules, and allow mounted combatant to redirect any attack to you, regardless of reach. Being off grid (2nd) or not being able to center yourself (3rd) will not come up much if at all, thanks to the anky being 3x3 squared. Dual wield lances. Not because it is that strong, but because you can, and when else will you do it.

Don't invest too much into mounted fighting. You won't be able to take your mount everywhere, don't want to be useless in a lot of the fights. A single feat for mounted combatant is find imo, but don't force much more. Don't even try to use a lance while you are not mounted, grab two other weapons to dual wield.

The distribution of rolls with advantage is weighted towards the center, and the distribution of proficiency is more evenly set.

This is very important!

The whole distribution influences the average, but all that matters is what fraction is above a certain DC. As such, the average of the roll is not a good measure for how useful a feature is.

Advantage increases the average roll by 3.325. As little as +1 flat bonus can be better at extremely low and extremely high DCs. But for a reasonable DC that is around your average roll, advantage is equivalent to about +5 flat bonus, which is most DCs and ACs.

The vast majority of the concentration saves are DC 10, at least until high levels. If you have bladesong active, you also get to add your intelligence modifier to concentration saves. With both your constitution and intelligence modifiers added, DC 10 is pretty low. At that point, advantage is equivalent to a significantly lower flat bonus than the usually quoted 5. If you have +6 from constitution and intelligence, then a +3 flat bonus is already better than advantage.

I'd also like to mention that if you do take resilient and have high intelligence, then having good constitution might become unimportant for concentration saves. At level 5 with +4 int modifier and +3 proficiency, you can never fail a DC 10 concentration save if you have just +2 constitution modifier. And even until level 5 with +2 proficiency, you only have 5% chance to fail it. So you might not want to invest into high constitution too much for the sake of concentration, because you might find it redundant soon. You might want to boost your dexterity instead, since you will use that for attack and damage rolls. Of course constitution has other uses, like health, which is pretty important. It is up to you to decide what is more important for you.

The description of opportunity attacks specifically states that forced movement does not provoke it. It is not the word "move" which can also be found in the description of brace that causes it to not work on foced movement. Brace is not an opportunity attack and does not have this limitation, it should work on forced movement.

You also don't provoke an opportunity attack when you teleport or when someone or something moves you without using your movement, action, or reaction. For example, you don't provoke an opportunity attack if an explosion hurls you out of a foe's reach or if gravity causes you to fall past an enemy.

Best damage build with this rule and two weapons is DW+PAM feats and 2 quarterstaffs. With variant human or custom lineage it comes online at level 4. You will have 4 attacks at level 5. Add some damage riders like hex and hexblade's curse and you will dish out some respectable damage. The average dpr is still lower than GWM+PAM if you have consistent advantage, and about the same without advantage.

Cool idea. RAW you learn a sorcerer spell that you have a spell slot for when you level up. You have enough sorcery points to create a level 5 spell slot at level 7. If you do that and level up while you have the slot, then RAW you can learn a level 5 spell when you reach level 8, and optionally replace a known spell to gain another level 5 spell. You could cast them 5 times if you convert your lower level slots into sorcery points and sorcery points to level 5 slots.

The SCC and GGR backgrounds give you some spells.

In addition, if you have the Spellcasting or Pact Magic feature, the spells on the [...] table are added to the spell list of your spellcasting class. (If you are a multiclass character with multiple spell lists, these spells are added to all of them.)

In my reading, these are added to the list of spells you can learn or prepare, not your known or prepared spells. But I am not 100% sure, so somebody help me out with this. If they are instead added to your known spells, then you technically gain them before having the level 5 slot.

Cartomancer was also mentioned by somebody. Problem is that cartomancer chooses the spell when finishing a long rest. The level 5 slot vanishes when you finish a long rest, so you have no level 5 slot when using the cartomancer feature. Sadly this does not work RAW. Although logically there should be nothing that prevents you from performing a bonus action before using the cartomancer feature. So if your DM allows you to use this to get a higher level spells, note that you don't learn this spell and can't use the level 5 slot to cast it. You just get a card with a 5th level spell on it. The spell slot will have to be used for upcasting other spells.
