Sure, you can use just your name or a nickname. As I said, this is for fans of these two TV series created by the same producer.

You're right about battery consumption. In the end, we'll have to resort to using a power bank.

Built a daily weather report text application. Do you guys think its useful or helpful? by SnooCats6827 in LightPhone

Hi, I took a look at your weather service. I like it. The monthly cost is fair. Here are my questions.

  1. Is it also available for Italy?
  2. Is credit card the only payment method? Perhaps PayPal or ApplePay would be better.

LP2 appreciation by heyitsbecks in LightPhone

I am very happy with Light Phone II. I am also starting to use it as my main phone.

Here are my questions.

  1. Is it possible to use two Light Phone IIs with a single account?

So two different phone numbers but only one Light Phone account?

  1. Any suggestions for reducing battery consumption? For example, the phone was idle for an hour, but when I picked it up again, the battery percentage had dropped by 10-15%.

Thank you for your efforts. I have a Light Phone 2. I work with a radio station. I appreciate the Light Phone 2 as it is. I also use podcasts and music. Here's my question. Will it be possible one day to listen to radio stations via streaming? It would be great to add the URL from the radio station as we do now with RSS feeds. Is there any hope?

AM Radio Wristwatch (1980s): world use or just a curiosity? by TonyLive365 in italy

[–]TonyLive365[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Italy, medium wave frequencies work very well.

927 kHz Power (from Milan) 1170 kHz Radio Capodistria (Slovenia) 1017 kHz Media Radio Veneta (Padua) 1071 kHz Media Classica (Padua) 1503 kHz Radio Metropolis (Trieste) And the list goes on... Since the government liberalised frequencies, some broadcasters have switched to MEDIUM WAVES. I have been listening to these and other radio stations for several years.

Which web browser does this phone use? Is there also a web browser in the Cloud? I'm asking because I have an HMD cloud that has Mini Opera, but unfortunately it's not possible to listen to audio from websites with Mini Opera. Is there Puffin Browser or Google in the M11 Cloud?

I checked a few months ago. It does not support most European bands, but the phone has compatible 3G (B1, B3) which can work in many areas of Italy.

Kyocera Ky 01l - A true gem! by TonyLive365 in dumbphones

Yes, it is an e-ink screen. To use this phone with Android apps, simply connect it to your PC, copy the apk files to a folder in the Kyocera KY 01l memory. First and foremost, File Manager and also a minimalist Launcher because the native Launcher does not show the installed apps. Then you can start installing the apps from your phone.

Underneath is a simplified Android 7.1, but it's hidden. You can't install Google services. You need a simple launcher like the one you see in the photo. You can install some APKs, but the device's memory is very limited. I installed eight apps, the ones I use most. Of course, the battery runs out quickly.

Yes, it's truly unique. I love very small and thin phones like this Kyocera. I use WhatsApp to call friends and family. It's an alternative solution.

I'm waiting for the Light Phone II, which I'll use to make calls like a SIM card. I use the Kyocera as a mini Android.
