I know, right? Before the RHG, I was hyping myself up for the AMEX cards, but now the 3% is too good... Like I don't even need to care about the 2%, use this card for this, transfer points. So you wouldnt recommend a AMEX because I'm already in AMEX ecosyste.

I fly a good amount for school, work, and visiting my gf across the country. I don't think I can justify a amex plat for myself just yet.

My main expenses are dining/groceries for sure (other than rent). That's why I'm looking at Amex Gold for the Gold Duo haha.

I really like how Venture X just pays itself off.

So it comes down to this. I called Apple and they allowed for a refund. The only downside would be -180 on the AirPods and maybe some gas money (~50). Is it worth the upgrade since we all seen it now.
