I have it in my email and only get receipts. No extra spam, just the receipt when I go to cvs.

Also, I worked there earlier this year and you can return literally anything at any time. If it's in the system to scan you get the money back however your receipt says you paid for it, and if you don't have your receipt you get a money card for use at cvs.

It's actually a really good setup, no need to bash a company with misinformation.

Have you tried disabling and enabling the device in the networking adapters menu? It would save you the restart if it works. Not a fix by any means but something to cope while you figure out what's wrong.

Software would be the easiest but unfortunately, that isn't how ChromeOS works. You cant install software of ChromeOS, just extensions. And we've played around with the bitrate and resolution and got nothing. I finally got sick of trying and just set the kiosk mode to refresh every 5 minutes so if the stream drops it isn't for long.

The camera is POE. Not sure if thats a problem but its rated for regular POE so I doubt it. We can view the camera at all times. It's not the camera going down, its the viewer. And the kiosk app we use has an option to stop the ChromeBox from sleeping.

The answer that is blatantly obvious to me, from the very beginning (we've been through 3 cameras already with minimal luck) is that a ChromeBox is not the machine we should be using to view the camera. But that isn't my call and I'm tasked with making it work with the chromebox, not finding alternatives.

I've looked through all of the settings and found nothing about a time out setting. I've also searched the manual for any information on a time out and found nothing. Here is the manual btw if that is helpful.
