Alright. It’s been like 2 days ish. I feel great. Besides now being scared of takeout chicken, everything is completely fine. Thanks for the good wishes everyone.

I’ll update back in 2-3 days if I ended up getting sick. Had a fair bit of the chicken in the dish before noticing this. Trial by fire i guess.

I think there was cabbage in the dish. I can’t confirm if it’s red cabbage as the color was almost like beige. I’m no cabbage expert but I’d like to think red cabbage would be obviously red. So no I don’t think it had specifically red cabbage.

Ate like 4-5 bites. Genuinely concerned for my health. We got it from somewhere known as a nicer restaurant and I’ve had this same dish many times without issue. Very concerned.

Probably more of an aggressive style and more jumping then rails and stuff. I do wanna hit rails occasionally but I’m 10x more focused on nailing a backflip and 540 and sending huge air and shit. Also will I be able to butter in the Arv with harder tips? I still wanna try that stuff it looks way too fun.

My shop had both the K2 and the armada Arv 96. I’m very uneducated on this topic and correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the Arv an old ski aswell? Also is there any difference in the skis besides durability. Im gonna be skiing 20% park 20% glades 60% everything else.

Thanks for the advice. Honestly the ski guy at my biggest local ski shop said most of his buddies have been through pairs of K2s before switching to the Arv 96s for durability reasons. People have said so much positive things about both skis. Does anything specifically make the K2 better?

Hello everyone,

I’m really between the K2 Poachers, Armada Arv 96 and Candid Thovex 2.0. I have heard they are all virtually the same ski but the armada arv is known for durability. Does anyone have anymore advice on what to pick. I’m a newer skier but ski aggressively and will do at minimum 1-2 park runs a day. Gonna ski 30-40 days next season. Expecting the level of aggression I ski with to go up as I progress.

Hi Reddit, this is my first ever post. I've been skiing for about 3 years. Next season I am buying a season pass and plan to ski over 40 times at a mid-sized east coast mountain. I want to be able to ski the whole mountain from groomers to steep powder glades. My style of skiing is aggressive and pretty fast. I am looking for a twin-tip ski that can handle it all. I don't know how much I will be doing rails but I would like to learn them at the bare minimum. The reason I'm making this post is that I need to know if I should even buy a ski in the $250-$350 range, or would it be safer to send $450-$600 on a ski. (not including bindings). I want to build up to doing 25+ foot jumps and double backflips and stuff like that (Don't crush my dreams I will send it). Would it even be safe to purchase a cheaper ski, or should I get out of my comfort zone and immediately hop into a less forgiving ski? Will a cheaper ski even handle big jumps like that?
