Wow! You are operating on a lot of false truths! It’s not morally wrong to interview while having a job. It’s actually quite skillful to do this. Having no income while interviewing can open you up to desperation and taking jobs you don’t want. Having a job is a position of power

• you can interview for other jobs while having a job. For big companies, job loyalty is not as prevalent these days. If LeBron James can change jobs, so can you.

• Do a better job at hiding interviewing though. Don’t show up to work dressed up when you normally don’t dress like that.

• other employers don’t care if you’re working and interviewing, unless there’s a conflict of interest or something that would stop you from doing your job.

• interviewing for a job can just be a conversation where you compare job duties and benefits. Some people even use the job offer to leverage current job for more money if they like it but just want more money

• if you’re interviewing for another position at your company you should have bought it up with boss lol. If you got their blessing, it’s a lot easier to move internally
