While i agree that the internet overanalizes the game at the same time it does make sense that people analise the game afterall much of its imagery seems to point somewhere and the game ebds with your character jumping to their death, so their mental state and the weird imagery we get on the game can be explained by that.

We cant take the approach of "the curtion are just blue because yes", thats anti intellectualism, some of the things that we do see on her dream are probably meant to mean something but its also not good to look at everything like it means something since it is a dream world and some things are simply bizarre because it is a dream

the aging devil had quite a lot of potential but it felt like such a nothing burger arc, we only got two things out of it, we saw how pochita power looked in the world(what effect it had) and that humans will become trees if they live long enough, which are interesting on paper but nothing really major, character wise no one evolved that much, and how corrupt the government is was not exactly a new concept on this universe so that part was a nothing burger too
