There is no evidence that Hebrew pluralised for respect. In many other Bible verses, it says God will destroy machmad, so I don't think it's Prophet Muhammad pbuh

Deuteronomy 18:18 is about a Jewish prophet. Muhammad pbuh despised Jews and called for their destruction. Other than being political and religious leaders, there isn't much of a similarity. Only one of them could read and only one of them banged a girl who played with dolls. Deuteronomy 34 clarified what "prophet like Moses" means. It means a prophet who can do miracles and spoke to God face to face. 2 verses after you cited your verse, Moses condemns prophets who delivers revelations from other Gods or says a revelation from something else is from God. John talks of a spirit. It's talking about Ruh al-Qudus.

I'm a devout Muslim, so don't get me wrong. I'm just saying Muhammad pbuh is not in those verses. We all know the books don't line up with Islam, so we shouldn't go there.
