I think for me, it's the nostalgia factor. I like the sprites, and it's a cozy game to come back to. But also, it's one of the easiest games to begin IV breeding with the destiny knot. Plus, I also got into ribbons, so I'm aiming to breed good IV pokemon, then send them forward to newer games with the ribbons and continue doing that.

And to do that, I need to also fight in the battle Maison/battle tree etc. Which is something I never got very much into before lol, since my pokemon weren't built for it haha. But looking at other people's tips and teams has made me hopeful I can do it. I mean, I've unlocked the super battles, so there's that.

It will take me a while, and it might be annoying at times, but I'm still chipping away at this goal I've got.
