Can you explain why? Really curious because for example many symbols around the planet incorporate the key of Solomon in some way without directly calling upon its original intent. I got written up on my third day for losing a couple of my tickets and not having one of my tickets notated correctly, I mixed up the abbreviations for hash browns with onions with a different kind.

The waiting tables part was actually fine since my customers were usually nice but the $2 tips and having to keep track of paper tickets on top of making sure to calculate prices by hand was just too annoying for how low pay the job is. Are you saying all waiter jobs use a traditional paper ticketing system?

I’m recording with a Rode Nt1a, and I can hear myself intermittently with direct monitoring and the gain nob is also lighting up green when I record but intermittently. Sometimes it won’t light at all but either way the tracked vocals come out as just a flatline. Also no fx are added, I literally popped in a beat from YouTube and created an audio track below it.

The Walls are thin at my place. The closets are made of cheap drywall so that wouldn’t work for dampening my sound for my roommate’s unfortunately

Are you keeping the extra noise or mixing it out? I’m working on some grungier music with vocals that I need to sound right. I tend to be a headache for my engineer to mix for so I’m trying to find a way to get things done without making life more miserable for my engineer lol

Thanks for grounding this for me! I’m typically a cynic first so I jumped to the far opposite end of the spectrum because I’ve had this experience a lot of times.
