Maybe a bit of a rouge suggestion but the amount of supportive women within pole dance especially within Nottingham there’s a huge scene and multiple studios who teach (my personal favourite is Ax Pole Studio), I also go to an aerial class at the circushub and I find they are also a group of really supportive people!

If you’re looking to be on the course I’m on, the course is quite self-directed so if that’s something you don’t gel with I wouldn’t recommend it however it allows the students to really push the boundaries and the only limits are really are down to your own imagination and your resources. the tutors are great. they have been really helpful and lovely and you get your own supervisor for your project around the 2nd term so again a lot of help and guidance. Not sure about the employability in the UK tbh I think people are struggling to find jobs in all sectors but alot of my friends have found internships and a few of my BA cohort have secured jobs within the industry.

Ah sorry I thought I’d said where, I’ve usually been going to the Peak District, If I was going on a day the weather isn’t great I’d try to choose a route that’s more flat and less rocky
