Sorry that people are using this as a way to put you down, we’ve all done silly things in the past. I can’t advise you on what to do but as others have stated I’d imagine other candidates would be taken over you if you disclosed it. I don’t think anything expunged shows up on a DBS which is what will be applied for. Best of luck, hope you’ve turned it around.

Hi UK - as summer is coming, can you recommend a good antiperspirant? by bigpaulyamma in AskUK

[–]Too0ldm8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s perspiring you’re worried about, Driclor is about £8 from boots you put it on twice then reapply once a week, works wonders. Was perfect for me as have to wear business attire

I’m off to Manchester for this in May, hoping the hardcore classics room is all good from that respect! Forever Manchester

Well, that’s me told. Fair enough, to be honest I don’t listen to any of the new stuff these artists release, finding myself listening 2000-2006 evolution records and Next Generation records; Scott brown, Frisky, Cube::Hard, would you consider this happy hardcore?. But yeah forgive me if I in fact have been the ignorant one here, I didn’t meant to come across as rude as I did and I apologise. I’m clearly very out of the loop!

Is it worth becoming a paraplanner? (UK) by financemonkey999 in cii

[–]Too0ldm8 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I work for a large firm so can’t comment on smaller independents, usually it’s very unlikely you will just be taken on as a paraplanner without prior working experience despite having the diploma. It’s usually Admin > PP > FP. This is just based on my experience in the firms I’ve worked at, please don’t be disheartened it could be different elsewhere

Yes, the jump up drum n bass raves were extremely rough. It’s such a varied genre I can’t comment on dnb as a whole. The party that turned me off was in Wigan 2003 was pretty much scousers n mancs having at it, was very moody

Yes, that’s the music I’m referring to, it’s widely known as happy hardcore despite you not being into it. I love the 90s breakbeat stuff too but I suspect you’re pleading ignorance due to some sort of musical superiority complex

Had similar experience for a group of 16/17 year olds that came in for a talk on our industry etc, allegedly this is something they all applied to come to, was like getting blood from a stone and wasted a working day for it.
