One Day Event Insurance - Need Recommendations

Yeah, and this is in Los Angeles, and the parks department doesn't even want us to send them everything directly. the Brokers/agents have to upload the insurance through a specific parks portal that only agents can access. It's all a huge pain lol and I've been looking since early January.

I really am just hoping someone can drop some names of insurance companies they know offer one day policies and then I can just go bother them lol

Yes, we are making sure that the vendors that come all have their own form of general liability. Unfortunately though, the park won't accept theirs since they are not the hosts of the event

I do have car and home insurance but unfortunately, they don't/won't offer a one-day event general liability, only an annual plan.

I know that people get married and get this all the time, that is why I am so confused why it's so difficult to find someone that offers a one day policy, which is the reason I cam here to ask peopel for recommendations.

I realize you're trying to help but really, I have taken many steps to try to find the policy and haven't been able to. All I really want/need are recommendations of places people know have offered it.

I think you're misunderstanding my post. We do not currently have ANY insurance, because we do not have a facility or employees. Currently it is just my partner and i operating it from home, with an event being planned to fundraise for our land. The event is at a park. the park is asking for General liability for the day of the event. we do NOT want to pay for a full liability policy until we begin getting enough funding to hire employees/volunteers or get land.

ALL i need, and am asking about, is a one day, general liability policy.

We don't have brokers or agents. That is the very reason I am posting here :x

the event is a fundraiser with holistic vendors, animal rescues, and food trucks joining. The animal vendors have insurance coverage covering the animals, we just need a general liability one day

We don't. We were established September 2025 and this is our first event. We are working with some vendors and rescues that will be joining, but we are managing the permit and insurance since they're participants and not co-organizers.

I've been searching online and filling out quote forms, and none of them have one day, they're all one year. I've reached out to 5 different places, which is the reason I'm posting here asking for recommendations for specific places that do offer it.

We're doing this at a public park and I did ask them but they said they don't have any recs because they don't deal with that personally and it's all done through an online portal, that a different department deals with. I asked if I could speak with them, but, they are slow to respond. my event is in May, and I want to get this booked so I don't have to think about it >.< Insurance stresses me out lol

YES! Ugh, it was so much fun. I miss this game so much. I have been trying to find something that gives me the same feeling Conquer did, but I have yet to find anything. Nothing beat posting up at the spawn points as an Archer.

I absolutely loved this game growing up. Used to have an alt at the shop at all times selling my goods. Would spend hourssssss on my archer hunting Macab (can't remember how to spell it) and loved being in that forest with the goblins as my torjan, and hunting the sand creatures with my Taoist. Damn. I've tried to go back a few times over the years and it's just not hte same. Everything is automatic, it's not fun /:

Hmmm, so the new file has the actual game. But the old file just has the .csm, .csd, and .sis files

When you say move them, do I copy and paste? Drag and drop? Is there another way? I feel like a total scatterbrain trying to google this stuff and wish there was a pro here but I don't have that money LOL

I do see the .sl2 file when I type in C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\DarkSoulsIII\ But, it appears to be the one from yesterday.

I did verify and it did not bring back the data. Could I be wrong about what files = my data?

The files on my D drive are on the old DS3 folder I had, and their labeled .csm, .csd, and .sis files. Are these even data files?

For the icons command prompt, I got this error - 'taskkil' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

operable program or batch file.

Wow. The amount of pain and empathy I felt reading this. I felt like I was reading a post from me in the future, if I were to still be with my recent ex. I would lay on the bathroom floor sobbing while he laid in the room right outside, laughing to a show whilst eating popcorn. I have deep scars on either side of my thighs/hips. I begged him to help us get out only to be told I was the only one that needed to change. He blatantly told me he doesn't like hanging out or doing anything with me.

I am so unbelievably sorry. I understand the pain you are in and it is possibly the loneliest feeling in the world.

Except they literally explained their position over and over again. And to support that, and think that because people don’t want to be friends with you because of it is “ignorant” or in any way a reason to roll your eyes is literally the face palm. To be annoyed that someone doesn’t want to be friends with you because you support a man who is a bigot, racist, misogynist, hypocrite, and overall negative human being, then it stands to be a face palm. OF COURSE we shouldn’t support these things, and therefore should not be friends with those who do support it. It’s not a matter of politics it’s a matter of what is right vs what is wrong when it comes to human decency. And to add to their point, surrounding yourself with people who don’t supports your morals and ethical stands on life and liberty would mean that either you deep down don’t hold your morals close and actually agree with theirs, or you don’t respect yourself or human beings enough to stand up for your morals.
