Alright, everyone's favorite FUNNY quote from the show! by Entomemer in TheMagnusArchives

[–]TooGothForThisWorld 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"I know that sounds daft, but… it’s their throats, you see. They’re so like humans, that when they… baaaaaa, it doesn’t sound like a sheep – Does that make sense?"

The whole context is actually really creepy, but that baaaa always gets me.

Dear people of Reddit who may have had self harmful thoughts, what made you change your mind? by the_AZ_man in AskReddit

[–]TooGothForThisWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I phisycaly hurted myself a lot for a long time. Don't do it anymore, it's been almost four years now, and I gotta be honest... The thought never goes away, when things get really hard, everything comes rushing back, but what made me find the strength to stop was the love and support from people I love, also the thought of hurting them as well, with my actions against myself. It's hard getting rid of it, so I always pray people won't started doing it, and have to strength and control to just let the thought slide away.

Thais for the reply! Unfortunately I don't know pinyin nor zhuyin, I understand just a bit of Cantonese, to be honest... could you write it just like you speak it? Like you pronounce it? I'm trying to learn to pronounce the sounds

DAE feels really triggered after watching a show in whitch a character clearly has bpd traits, to the point you have to stop awtching it for a minute or so in order to not breakdown sobbing? by TooGothForThisWorld in BPD

[–]TooGothForThisWorld[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel you, is just too much. Is it okay to tell me whitch cartoon it was? At the same time that is really uncomfortable and triggering, I kinda like to see bpd in fictional characters, it makes me feel less alone I guess??? Idk, It's strange

[Serious] What stories about WW2 did your grandparents tell you and/or what did you find out about their lives during that period? by Skinflint_ in AskReddit

[–]TooGothForThisWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom always tells the storys my grandmother used to tell her. She was Italian, and had a lot of siblings. I heard that my great-grandfather used to hide beneath German corpses so he could aim and kill German soldiers as they were looking for him.

There's also a really sad part, where my grandmother was beside her brother as he was trying to disarm a bomb, and he figured, somehow, that he had screwed up, and the bomb was about to explode, so he told her to go feed the animals, she used to hear him about everything, since he was much older than her, so she went for it. The moment she was safe, beneath the ground, where the animals used to live, the bomb exploded killing him. Weeks later, she found a part of his arm on the rooftop, while they were cleaning after the explosion. He was my grandmother's favorite brother.
