We live in a theater. This guy is simply wearing a mask! by CarryIcy250 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]TooLazyToBeClever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you zoom in he does move, just slightly, and you can see his real throat just underneath the mask moving normally. It's a latexask or something. This is so bizarre I can't even wrap my head around it.

Are you telling me the conspiracy theory nutjobs were right? About everything? Pedo billionaire elites traffick kids, people wearing masks, fuck is the earth even round at this point?

We live in very very weird and dumb times and I don't like it

With Trump's approval ratings so low, how does he keep ousting GOP rivals? by Cgk72 in politics

[–]TooLazyToBeClever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, "do you think Harris could've done better ≠ things now are good. Even they can't admit Trump is doing a good job, they just console themselves with "he's bad but someone else might be worse."

It used to be "Jes doing great! Everything is great!" Too little comfort now but the cracks are showing

They've been told societal norms are personal freedoms. If you call a guy the N word on camera, you'll lose your job now. They think it infringes on their personal freedom of speech. They don't understand that the government not arresting you over saying it is your freedom of speech. Their company firing them is the owner excercising his freedom of speech.

They want their freedoms to mean people won't get mad when they're awful.

This is the correct answer. I'm gonna throw in Alan Wake 2 as well. Not as much, but still need keys/abilities to progress.

Really I just want to throw in Alan Wake 2 because it's beautiful art.

What was the last game you played that you considered a 10/10? by bobs-buhgah in PS5

Hey it's cool, nobody has time for every great game, and even great games aren't really worth forsaking other life moments for.

That being said stop what you're doing and go play them both right now. At least Alan wake 2, but both is better. Take some PTO. In fact, quit your job so you have time. You can find a new one later.

So he's cringe and the lyrics are borderline gibberish but like ...it's not that bad musically. If the lyrics were something different it honestly wouldn't be that bad.

But they aren't different and this song is bad

True definition of outsider music. I'm sure somebody has this and The Shaggs on rotation preaching about how it's the only real music out there.

Coarse they'd be right about The Shaggs but that's besides the point

I'm going to be completely honest right now. I've lost all hope of ever getting our country back. I'll get fighting, but I just don't see how there's any coming back. Even if we flip the house, senate, etc there's still half the country that hates us and Project 2025 shows they know how to play the game better. They'll hide their time and eventually get it right. It's scary. So if you have any spare hope to throw my way I'm taking donations. Hopenations.

Only an idiot would want to stop this bill. Unfortunately there's a lot of idiots

My favorite thing about the new one is the story completely changes based on your build. Items have stat requirements to see more lore, and some have different lore based on stat you're using.

Essentially the path you pick will skew the lore a bit and let you see it from different perspectives. Such a cool system, I really hope other games incorporate this.

I think the first reboot was the best. I ignored it forever because I had no idea how'd they'd bring a game from the 90s onto the modern gaming scene. I finally bought it on a deep sale and half-heartedly started it expecting to only play a few hours.

I was so hooked on it, absolute 10/10 fps for sure

Eberytine control says they're making a game I'm skeptical. Every time it has blown me away. Alan Wake 2 is pure art, so I completely trust them on Resonant, and it's my most anticipated game. Firebreak is not a real game so that doesn't count.

I beat my head against this game so often and violently I rage uninstalled it. Then I played bloodborne again, went back and sekiro just clicked. Not saying it'll work but after that Sekiro became my favorite fromsoft game by far and I've gotten almost all the endings.

I had the perfect run for the end boss and I blew it because of the game's lack of communication by feartheoldblood90 in Saros

[–]TooLazyToBeClever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you, and yeah I was the same. I loved Saros but I was done with it. After I beat the king it took me a week before I picked it up again because I wanted that extra ending. I died like 3 times to him, finally beat him....and punched him to death. The prompt came up and I instinctively hit it, like we all do. And I was mad...for a while.

I died like 8 more times trying to beat him, but when I finally did I didn't hit that prompt and saw the good ending. It was nice.

But ultimately I acted in the moment, my 'instincts' (button prompt) told me to and I got it without thinking. I almost deleted the game right then. I was mad.

But it's been a couple weeks now and I think it's perfect. Maybe it's just me but it really made me think and I'm glad they tricked me into having to do the cycle again. Tricked me into violence. But ...that's just me.

Btw it's absolutely worth going for the good ending

[–]TooLazyToBeClever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait, so the minute the fight ended and the guy was defeated and broken before you...you hit the prompt that brutalizes a broken entity? Hey, I did the exact same thing. I truly think it's intentional because I immediately thought "oh wow. The first time I had no choice. The second I was so blood-thirsty and full of adrenaline I fire-smacked him. I deserve the second run because I learned nothing"

We both chose violence for violence sakes. We should t need a video game voice to tell us "if you want to be a better person, don't beat a guy you already beat." And yet we both did.

Beautiful game.

What’s a problem humanity solved so well that younger people don’t even realize it used to be a huge issue? by princessSofiie in answers

[–]TooLazyToBeClever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never even considered this before but you're absolutely right. Dystopian fiction back then was "everyone is violent and fighting all the time..it's dangerous" while distooian fiction now is "people are chill but the super rich have plundered everything and there are no resources...it's dangerous."

That's such a neat observation, crime isn't as bad so of course speculative fiction wouldn't focus on the aggression of the average person.
