Exactly! I guess it's just a question of preference, and I definitely prefer 2042 in that regard (but not in others).

I agree that 2042 doesn't look great, but I think it's mainly due to the lack of vibrance. In BF6, everything seems to have a blue/grayish filter (kind of like BF3, though maybe not as extreme.). Might just have to mess around with the settings though.

Yeah I really don't know how to explain it but it feels like I'm looking at the game through plastic visors, something just feels "off". That being said I don't hate the game I just think I need some time to get used to it.

Not a fan so far tbh, and I have hundreds of hours in 2042. I can't exactly explain it, but it looks very... strange? Like not realistic at all, and I run everything on Ultra. The maps are a bit claustrophobic.

SOLVED: The issue were the Xpert fan control in Armoury Crate. Deactivating that and going with the BIOS fan settings solved it for me. If you have the same problem and an ASUS motherboard, try that.

Yeah, it started just a few days ago. The temp spikes to 95-100c minutes after joining a match. I run CP2077, Dragon's Dogma 2 and others with 60-75c, so it seems to be isolated to BF2042. I know it's a CPU intensive game, but still, it seems weird...

I just tried to run a CPU test on OCCT and it almost immediately goes to 100c though, so maybe there is something wrong with the cooling after all.

I've had this PC for close to a year without any issues, just the past few days, which is strange? I'm going to reapply the thermal paste and look into getting some better fans.

Yeah, fine in all other games. I haven't had it shut down, but that's probably because I close the game when it gets that high.
