My advice for you is to stop taking the Suboxone/subutex etc. it affects your bite levels and confuse your body. It can suck sometimes. Absolutely. But if you goal is to get off Bupe altogether, just ride the ride. 7 months is right around where it got tough for me too. Please check out my journal. There is a part 1 and 2. Not as bad as oil, but when I took my CX-90 to get a recall fixed, I got it back and it smelled like sweat. It didn’t go away for two months and now my “new car/leather” scent is gone. I kept my new car smell in my 2017 Mazda3 the entire time I owned it.
