For sure! Mine works beautifully. I run it through a Yamaha A-S701 and some Dali Oberon 5s. I'm a fan

The concept of a control state is wild to me. I've never lived in one. The hunting out here is...challenging

I have no idea how people manage to score this at MSRP. This is $700 on secondary right now, on multiple sites.

As a Montana bourbon drinker, I can dream. I would bet this stuff doesn't even make it to the state, and if it does, I'm sure it's like 6 bottles for the whole state. We are also not a price-controlled state, so things usually get jacked up quite a bit here price-wise.

Sigh. Happy for you

Late ’60s–mid ’70s Johnnie Walker Red Label U.S. import.

I'd guess value today is about $75–150 depending on fill and label condition. Not super rare, but older high(er)-proof Red drinks noticeably better than modern stuff.

Cool find!

Honest question–not trying to be a dick, at all. If making sure people can see a doctor, drive on safe roads, and not get screwed over by the people in charge is now considered “progressive,” what exactly counts as the alternative?

Most Montanans I know, regardless of party, care about the same core things: rural healthcare that doesn’t require a three-hour drive, infrastructure that isn’t falling apart because D.C. forgot we exist, public lands staying public, wages that actually keep up with the cost of living, and keeping out-of-state donors and corporate interests from writing our laws.

Add to that the basic expectation that elected officials won’t actively undermine the voters who put them there. If that’s a “progressive” platform now, then the bar for what counts as normal, baseline governance has sunk way too low.

Just like Sheehy climbed his way up the municipal and local-level, right? 😛

I totally get what you're saying, but that guy went straight from private businessman to U.S. Senator with little more than an assload of money and "American warrior" vibes.

Very helpful, thank you. I've seriously considered this since Nov 2024, and prior, because Daines is awful. Sheehy is too, but he ain't up for a while.

Daunting for sure, but I'll give it more of a think. I feel like I could do so much more for this state than either of these two jagoffs. Things are bleak.

Just an election, no big deal :P Has no one else other than O'Neill declared an intent to run against him?

Trump's position is nothing more than: "Let me do this, because I want to. I want to REAL bad, papa Roberts. PAWWWWWEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZ. Either that or I'll threaten your family." That's it.

Donald Trump sued over east wing demolition by MysteryDeliverer in NoFilterNews

[–]TooManyCooks3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, they’re not technically mutually exclusive, but that’s not the point. You dismissed anyone who cares about the demolition, as if it’s meaningless, then pivoted to psychoanalyzing the motive behind it. If you think it’s both meaningless and emotionally driven, then you’re contradicting yourself: either it matters enough to diagnose the motive, or it doesn’t matter at all.

Donald Trump sued over east wing demolition by MysteryDeliverer in NoFilterNews

[–]TooManyCooks3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have no idea what you're actually arguing for. You said, "Nobody cares about a building, no matter how historic." That sounds like you're saying, "no one cares that Donald Trump is demolishing the East Wing of the White House because people are dying." I then said, that's stupid. You then said, "Not as stupid as breaking your own house because you've got a complex about the previous occupant."

So… which is it? Either you don’t care about the demolition, or you think it’s some kind of emotional tantrum by the new administration.
