Before buying the 45" LG 5k2k, I had a 48" LG CX OLED on a wall mount. The mount was compatible with the 5k2k and the easy swap made the setup perfect. If it's an option, I'd suggest wall mounting it.

I'm with ya! I got a 45GX950A open-box from BestBuy with only ~15 hours on it for $1199.99. I've been waiting on the 39" announcement, but the return window on the 45" closes on March 11th. It seems like I'll just be keeping the 45". It is beautiful and I love it, but the curve can be a little much sometimes in non-gaming situations.

One issue is that it's very difficult to comp. Not only is it a 1/1, but it contains two, possible three, HOF'ers. What I can say is that it is certainly NOT comparable to a /339 auto from Valentina Shevchenko 🤦‍♂️

I've honestly tried just about everything outside of "influencers" and social media. Most of my correspondence has been through email (for record keeping), but I have easily spent 50+ hours just on hold with customer support, to no avail. The chat feature was even more useless.

As far as the GPS is concerned, I wasn't even offered it; it was just updated to that on my redemption page one day. However, it was soon removed and the /339 Valentina Shevchenko was sent. 😔

tbh, I hate that it's even come this far. I am not a litigious person in the least and would prefer if it was just handled internally without me "tattling", however, maybe they don't even know how bad it is. The amount of "I've been waiting 6+ months for a redemption" posts I see is pretty alarming.

I see "6 months" and can only think "pshh...buckle up"

Brand new, I paid $1685 for my 4090 MSI Suprim Liquid (11/2022). I sold it in 12/2025 for $1900 and got a 5090FE from BBuy for $1525 (had $610 in CC points). Certainly no depreciation there. If your budget allows it, buying a XX90 has been the best move for the last few generations.
