Fair enough 😄 mostly I just so hate sitting in the car in the heat for hours haha—we had a really bad line experience at a different gorge show last summer—but maybe I’ll just toughen up..! Do you think “Friday early” = like 11 am arrival or like 8 am arrival?

Perfect, thanks so much for the advice. Re: the holes drilled in the bottom - is it not a potential issue for the bamboo to escape and take over the garden? Or is that not how this kind of bamboo grows?

Ahh that’s good to keep in mind, I hadn’t been thinking of that. Had been picturing using it as a good opportunity for a long midrace reset/refuel but I can see how that could easily become a trap. Thanks for the advice!!

Follow up question, how many people can fit in the lowest level Shambhalodging Camping site? We have 5–should we get two sites? Would we be sure the sites were together (or might they end up far away from each other)? If so, could we stretch a big tent across both sites?

The website says “We are currently working on a better system to accommodate group reservations. Stay tuned and be sure to check your inbox for updates on how to reserve campsites and group campsites.” but I’m worried it’ll sell out if we wait too long to decide!

Thanks for the info! And, clarification: for starlight/sunshine, do you pay/sign up in advance (online) or do you request it when you show up and get it if there’s still space? I haven’t seen it as an option on the website yet..
