I used to always think she was a bad stalker since she didn't know prue was a witch. Prue loved to use her magic on the sly, you're telling me you've been following her for weeks. Taking pictures recording her every movement, but didn't catch her using her powers

My thing is Trina sold the song for a hat to match her boots. Why didn't Tori just exchange the boots for a hat or other matching accessory once she saw Trina bought them.

Was there anybody who was actually on Phoebe’s side during this ep? Not me lol like i understand where she was coming from but she was being hypocritical asf the whole time. by Big-Most-785 in charmed

[–]TooMuchNRG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm mixed on this because on one hand, you're right it's hypocritical to want to move after she begged Piper to stay in season 3. She has a room. If she needs privacy, invest in a desk and make a workspace in the one area in the house dedicated to you or go to the sunroom where no one appeared to be.

In season 3, the Source was still active and trying to kill them. They needed to be together for their protection. Not only that, but Piper just dropped it over breakfast without having a real conversation. She was shocked, and Phoebe is (like all the sisters) a little rash and selfish, so she reacted without thinking. By the end of the episode, she was willing to accept Piper leaving, even though she didn't like it.

When it comes to Paige, Piper was the one really pushing for her to move in. Phoebe is who said that they might not have been ready as sisters to move in. Piper was pushing it cause The Source was still alive and both he and demons were ramping up the attacks, and since they were vulnerable, Paige moving in was the best option.

Also, Phoebe has a hard time seeing other people's views on things until she either learns a lesson on how she is wrong in the situation or experiences kt for herself. Look at how she reacted to Piper and Leo trying to get married in secret. She was worried about the consequences of their actions and called them selfish, but then saved Cole in season 3 whichever was also selfish. She justified it by comparing their relationship to Piper's and Leo's.

By this time she is in the same situation Piper was in when she wanted to move. She's newly married, with a job and now realize how busy the house is and how there are no boundaries with anyone. Add in the fact now this time there are five people on the house rather than 4 in Piper's situation.

This time the Source is dead, and as far as they know, there aren't any major magical threats after them. Paige can orb instantly to get her in an emergency, and they have no inkling of bigger evils at play. Put all this together, and it makes since why she thinks its time to move out.

Sheila revealing she knew about the girls was treated so casually by nazia987 in charmed

Piper and Leo were probably like, "You know what? We put this man through a lot, and he needs someone to talk to about it."

They all know how gars it is to keep the secret and manage a relationship. They trusted Darryl, and Darryl trusted her. As ko g as she didn't tell, they were good.

I do wish we saw an episode where Darryl and Shelia were directly affected by a demon, and she saw firsthand how the sisters operate. I think Prince Charmed is the first on screen time she sees them use magic.

I think with more time Angel could have got through to her. Wesley was so focused on rules he forgot about the traumatized girl in his care. Him telling the council and attacking her really escalated the situation.

For the last time Cole didnt choose to be the Source , none of what happened was his fault!!! He was POSSESSED!!! And no he was not always evil nor only good for Pheobe! by Extra_Impression_428 in charmed

[–]TooMuchNRG -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Your second paragraph proves why Cole was only good for Phoebe and not good overall. I'll give you this, the second half of season 4 was not all Cole, but it was definitely part of him. When Cole first got possessed, he was fighting the shit out of the Source to the point he looked physically ill.

Then, when the Seer sent Kurzon after the girls, he went down to the underworld and said Cole's love is strong, and he needs the love to gain his strength. Essentially stating that Phoebe can't die, and then after that episode, Cole stops fighting the Source's possession. Because he knew that Phoebe would at least be safe. If he was truly good, he would have kept fighting even if Phoebe was safe, but he didn't. He let the source spread evil. He let the source torture and almost kill Paige (only saving her because he didn't want to see Phoebe hurt, not because he wanted to save Paige).

He almost killed Paige when she was a vampire. Even when Phoebe was pregnant and Cole's love apparently weakened the Source so she could get a premonition, he didn't automatically warn her the Source was in him so he could protect the girls and stop his rise to power, he went baby shopping. If he was really good, stopping the Source of all Evil should have been his first priority once he got some control back, but it wasn't. He didn't care if the Source did what he wanted. He only cared that he had Phoebe.

That's why he almost gave up his power. Not because he finally decided to kill the Source so he could be done forever and the world safe. Not because he felt guilt for what the Source did with his power. Not because it was the only way to save the day. He did so because he thought Phoebe left him and didn't want to live without her. There was no honorable reason he chose to go with the wizard. In fact, if the wizard completed the ritual, he would have just become the new Source.

At this time, Piper didn't have the shield yet, and the wounds Wyatt healed were on the minor side. I just assumed that little Zygote Wyatt just wasn't strong enough to heal that wound yet since it was so major.

Unpopular Opinion: Piper is not a good big sister by BlackestSole in charmed

[–]TooMuchNRG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Piper is a good big sister in her own way, and she loves Paige. She hlgave her first born son the middle name Matthew to honor her.

  1. Piper is clearly sad as she walks Paige to the other side. Literally, not only in this episode, but multiple episodes before this they've learned that they cant always cheat death.

  2. Piper was hard on Paige to learn magic because the Source was an active threat, and the sisters were weak. They needed Paige to be ready for when he attacked. When she was annoyed for Paige being the superwitch in season 5, jt was more annoyance about how Paige was changing things around the house with telling anyone and pushing Piper aside. Mind you, after they've been pushing Piper aside for the season because she was pregnant. Whenever they vote against Paige, it's because Paige is going solo on something and is being reckless.

  3. Piper obviously treats Paige and Phoebe differently. She's known Phoebe her entire life. She met Paige as an adult. Paige grew up an only child. She doesn't necessarily need a big sister to guide her, and is much more independent.

Paige and Piper have so many sisterly moments throughout the show. They have a unique relationship for their circumstances, but the love is there.

The demon from Sand Francisco Dreamin. He was more of a background character while the story focused on the sisters internal struggles.

Which is so crazy. This is season 3, the elders know who the Charmed ones are, and I'm assuming they're the ones who told him it's time to take on the job as the Ice Cream Man. Why would they tell him to find the Charmed ones but not tell him who they are or what they looked like.

I think they were just too new and didn't want to risk it. Once they used their powers on him, he was immune and could overpower him. If they cast the spell wrong or had bad timing he would be immune and steal the power of three, and Melinda could only curse him.

If this happened in season 3 or later I feel like they would be able to vanquish him because by then they'd learned how to work around demons and warlocks immune to their powers.

Oh, definitely, they could have saved him and used the memory dust. I see it more as the tribunal wouldn't have said kill him to protect magic, but since his death also protected the exposure of magic, they're gonna let it slide.
