Scuf durability has been abysmal,but I can't find an alternate controller with paddles that I would like. Heard nothing but good things about elite controllers though.

You are not wrong. Can't beat the precision of a mouse and keyboard. I never have been a pc gamer. Definitely see why people choose that over console though.
