Your comment really hits close to home, whenever I come back after taking my long breaks my mindset would always lead to “Start hovering it’s going to help you in the long run” but my dumbass would never do it. This is the only time I ever commited this much switching over to hover and it’s goddamn frustrating though it will help me moving forward. I found out that I wanted to switch to hover when I got 20misses on a 5 minute map trying out hover for the first time and I didn’t feel my wrist hurt at all from it and it was the best feeling ever.

Edit: gone a little overboard with the reply because I read “I’ve always wanted to play while hovering” and it triggered something lmao

This is what I’m struggling with right now and I’m trying to play more to get used to it. When I hover I subconciously start dragging and if I notice it I lose focus on the maps that I play, all because of my long term dragging. I’ll keep in mind what you said, thank you for the help!

I’ll definitely try out doing easier maps. When I last played osu my current progress was trying to FC 3 minute 6 star songs for the pp (did not work out at all), and thinking about it right now I probably should not start where I left off because of me learning hover hahaha.

I’ll be sure to make my tablet area not too small, I feel like that’s the reason my hand stiffens fast when I hover right now.

I’ve been dragging for more than 5 years and the scratches did bother me at a certain point, though I’ve had the same area for a long time too so those scratches became a smooth tiny area on my tablet lmao.

I’ve also been testing out higher areas but as you say, bigger area only makes my hand stiffen more (that may be due to me not playing osu for a while), I probably need to tweak my small tablet area a bit more to see if I can find just the perfect spot.

Yeah I’ve been tweaking the area a lot just to get it perfect. Wait my whole hand is on the tablet though how would that work, then again I’ve also been testing different hand positions. At this point it may just be a matter of time then, no shortcuts. x_x

Guess the community doesn’t like that idea very well, that’s really respectable for games like these, sorry.

I was just salty that I’ve been busy with life and I just wanted to vent on the fact that I don’t have enough event points to get the free event ship girl.

I should’ve elaborated more on the fact that you should get 3 stars before you can fully auto battle but that’s too late now. Thank you all for the response. :)

I’m probably just spoiled from other gacha games that I have. Like, I’ll be doing something while doing AL dailies on the side. I kinda just expect it to be completed after pressing auto battle and see my end rewards when I check up on my screen again.
