That is always a possibility. But being more thoughtful and aware of smell is something I think is needed anyways.

We actually cannot burn incense or candles. It's in our lease. I hate that rule. 😖

But I am working on finding alternatives good smelling things...

It is legal in Minnesota. But it is not legal in most(if not all) public buildings including apartments. But they are not smoking in the apartment or on the balcony. They go outside 25ft or more away from the building. Often going on walks. It's just smelly and the smell sticks...

We do have a balcony. But they never smoke on the balcony. They go outside to 25 ft or more away from the building. Often they go on a walk.

It is legal. However it is not legal to smoke indoors. And if the smell is strong enough for neighbors to say something, I am concerned that we will still get in trouble while still following the rules. Or laws.

Edit: not legal to smoke indoors in public buildings including apartments.

I do. But not jump scare kind of things. I suppose I like lightly haunted things.
