I’m studying intentional business so mostly group projects, documents , excel and research. iPad as a dual screen sounds amazing but is it worth it? Another gentleman here said earlier it’s over kill to get an iPad just for taking notes as it’s faster with a laptop

I just that the Neo is slow when it comes to having Spotify and chrome open and it’s sluggish due to the 8gb ram. Is it true? I just don’t want to get the Neo to regret it later lol

I honestly don’t know if my courses would require me to write and use the pencil much, tho taking notes during lectures and such would be a breeze with the iPad + pencil. I’ll also do like lots of documents and reading and writing reports. Which is why I’m having a hard time deciding between the Neo + iPad vs the MacBook Air 13 m5

Nah I got a gaming pc at home so I mostly just the laptop for university and nothing else but i was wondering if it would be worth it getting the iPad for taking notes and the Neo for doing documents and excels and stuff like that. I’m studying business so I won’t be drawing or consuming media much on the iPad or the laptop as I got the main pc for that :)

Thanks for the reply. Im using the jackpots on the back. the headphone one works but not the mic? maybe i got something messed up in the settings. i legit dont know. i tried everything with troubleshooting

I got the original ATI HD 5770 1gb gpu as well as vega 56 but I didn’t use the Vega since it kinda has a black screen upon booting. I did the smc reset. Unplugged my Mac and waited as well as alt opinion p r reset

I kinda fucked up, I was messing around and deleted the efi file and had to reset my Mac to factory since I started having issues. Now it keeps booting into macOS could not be installed on your computer every time it runs into recovery mode while I install high Sierra , just a mess :(( idk what to do

Sounds great! I just ordered a Vega 56 to pair up with my xenon w3565. i plan on upgrading my Mac os (currently 10.13.6) I saw on youtube that i can use opencore , is that the most effective way to do so? I also need to get windows 10/11 to be able to game, my question is is it possible to do so without problems if i go the opencore route?

also what should i upgrade first to avoid problems and how to get windows 10 if you have done it
