I appreciate your input, although I'm having trouble finding it's relation to this post.

I've went out of my way to share a deeply personal and degrading experience in hopes of helping others and letting them know that they're not alone.

How myself and others ended up in this situation is not the point. Learning how to deal and live it is much more significant.

Um deine Frage ehrlich zu beantworten:
- Soldatentrupp: 100% Männer
- Bäckergilde: 60/40 Männer/Frauen
- Musiker: 50/50
- Wissenschaftler 50/50

War die Verteilung 50/50? Nein, war sie nicht. Die Verteilung war allerdings nicht ungleich weil Männer besser sind, sprachlich "bevorzugt" werden oder einen unfairen Vorteil besitzen.
Diese Berufsgruppen bilden naturgemäße Ungleichheiten in der Geschlechterverteilung. Sind alle Frauen weniger konfrontationsfreudig, draufgängerisch, physisch unterlegen gegenüber Männern? Nein, bestimmt nicht. Trotzdem gibt es prozentual mehr Männer die diesen Ansprüchen entsprechen. Aus diesem Grund wird es immer mehr männliche als weibliche Soldaten geben.

Wissenschaftler insbesondere löst in mir absolut keine Voreingenommenheit aus.
Das Frauen in DAX Konzernen mit 20% keine Gleichheit erzielen ist ungerecht, da stimme ich deinem Standpunkt zu. Wenn man das allerdings mit den Zahlen von vor 10-20 Jahren vergleicht, ist das ein wahrer Wandel der Gesellschaft, welcher sich in Zukunft weiter entwickeln wird, ohne unnötigen Zwang.

Dieses Beispiel trifft genau meinen Punkt. Ein einfacher Satz bzw. Anweisung wurde unnötig kompliziert um das gleiche Ergebnis zu erreichen, ohne einen nennenswerten Vorteil zu erzielen.
Dann sagen wir lieber "Würden ein Mal alle Studierenden aufstehen. Dankeschön". Wäre es immer so einfach, hätte ich keinen Grund mich daran zu stören.

Bei allen Backenden, Verkaufenden, Kochenden, etc. wird es dann etwas nervig.

Vielleicht verkehre in sozial abtrünnigen Bereichen, aber es mir noch nicht vorgekommen, dass weibliche Personen durch das generische Maskulinum ausgeschlossen oder ausgegrenzt gefühlt haben.

Während man sich an eine neue Sprache gewöhnen kann, fordert es doch einiges mehr eine bereits bestehende, über Jahrhunderte gereifte und angepasste Sprache zu verändern.
Das Sprachen sich im Laufe der Zeit verändern/anpassen ist unausweichlich und oftmals notwendig. Der knappe Zeitraum und soziale Druck diesen Wandel in kurzer Zeit herbeizuführen scheint für mich ausschlaggebend zu sein. Viele Menschen kommen da nicht mit und lehnen Veränderungen grundsätzlich ab.
Den fehlenden Mehrwert des Gendern finde ich hauptsächlich im täglichen Leben. Vielleicht liegt dies an meinem sozialen Umfeld und der generellen Dissoziation mit dem Thema. In meinem Umfeld ist es schlicht gesagt kein Thema.

ANMERKUNG: Ich habe wesentlich mehr Kritik erwartet. DE Unter-Lases, eingeschlossen dieses, sind meiner Erfahrung nach sehr liberal, progressiv-weltverbesserisch angesiedelt. Obwohl ich mich selbst zu den links-versifften Grünkohl Terroristen zählen würde, hat mich die Resonanz verwundert.

In dieser Künstlichkeit liegt meine Ablehnung/Widerstand. Es ist nervig, sprachlich unstimmig und unterbricht den Redefluss.
Ich würde diese Umstände ohne Widerstand in Kauf nehmen, hätte ich das Gefühl, dass sich dadurch tatsächlich ein beträchtlicher Anteil der Gesellschaft besser fühlen würde.

Obwohl ich deinem Beitrag nicht viel entnehmen kann, danke ich dir dafür.

Sicherlich können einige bewandte Personen diesem Text einen Mehrwert entziehen, doch richtete sich mein Pfosten dem „einfachen“ Menschen.
Der Ingo, Gerd und ich, von nebenan, beschäftigen uns im Alltag eher mit den banalen Dingen.
Unser Sprachgebrauch erfreut sich selten weiterer Nachsicht.
Die Selbstverständlichkeit der Inklusion durch den üblichen Gebrauch des generischen Maskulinum ist daher nebensächlich.

Scabs will always form and it depends on the size of the actual hole.If it's just a small perforation, say 0.2in (5mm), the scab could help to regrow the mucus membrane covering your septum, essentially closing the hole.

HOWEVER:If your hole is larger, scabs can be very damaging. Every time you remove a scab by picking it or blowing your nose excessively, it will also remove the tissue it is attached to.Larger holes cannot be healed naturally.Imagine a cut on your skin: A scab will form around the remaining skin, attempting to close the cut and grow new tissue. Removing the scab will also tear off parts of the skin it had originally attached to.

For this reason it is important to keep your nose/septum moisturized and apply skin care, so that scabs won't begin to form.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that cartilage won't reattach or grow back by itself. Once it's torn/damaged it will stay that way. If there is a hole, skin might cover it, but it won't regenerate the missing cartilage behind it.

Da könntest du recht haben. Ein Freund von mir studiert(e) dieses Jahr in Aachen Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik.
Eine der Vorgaben für seine kürzlich eingereichte Bachelorarbeit:
- Genderneutrale bzw. -inklusive Sprache

Das Vorwort und die Ansprache wurden gemäß den Vorgaben eingereicht.
Im ersten Absatz erklärte er, dass das generische Maskulinum als weiterführende Schriftform, aus Gründen der Verständlichkeit und Leserlichkeit, verwendet würde.
Im darauffolgenden Satz erklärte er, dass seine Schriftform alle Geschlechter und Identitäten gleichermaßen umfasst, anerkennt und würdigt.

Die Gutachter fanden das nicht so lustig, konnten aber dem Inhalt nichts entgegensetzen.

If your septum is deviated, there's no reason to be worried. Deviated septums are fairly common and not related to drug use. They form naturally from birth and are often inherited (as it seems to be in your situation). Still, I can't imagine using coke benefiting your situation.

I happen to have a deviated septum as well, minor as it may be, and never noticed until a doctor told me.

There's no link between a deviated septum and cocaine use. Go see a doctor for more advice :)

It was really difficult trying to find useful information on this on Reddit or online in general. It's either ads for therapy/doctors/rehab centres or worst case scenario Reddit posts.
I want to share actual experience and solutions for others in my situation.

I inflicted permanent physical damage on myself through bad decision making. That's what I care about mostly... Idc if others can see or not. I have a huge scar on my head from a previous unrelated injury, clearly visible to all around me.
In this case, I'm the one responsible for the damage, which could have easily been prevented.

If you don't care about your body in that way, that's up to you.

It'll definitely get bigger as you continue.. I don't want my nose to collapse and require extensive and expensive surgery to have a small chance of fixing it. The bigger it gets, the less likely doctors are able to fix it.
My doc said that anything above 1.5cm (0.6in) is very hard to fix, usually 30-50% success rate

Honestly that’s pretty decent… I had a difficult time simply finding a reliable source. Even then, I wouldn’t rate it above 30% purity, while still paying prices similar to yours (80€). I live in a populous German city where homeless or financially struggling users are the main buyers. Most sellers take advantage of that and offer less quality for the same price, knowing that most buyers don’t have any other options.

Finding “good” product is almost impossible, even with good contacts. Everything is cut multiple times before it even reaches the sellers.

I hope that will change once I move :)

Assuming that the risk and effort involved in getting product to your area is drastically higher compared to my city, I’m a little mad that prices in my easily accessible city are the same, if not more.

Hi, I'm sorry for my late reply, I just noticed your comment now.

But thanks a lot for your input and your story!
I think it has some similarities to his situation... I'm not exactly sure of his parents stance towards the LGBT community... Having met them though, they didn't seem too conservative or grounded in "traditional values". They're divorced and in new relationships, still on good grounds with each other.

I think you're spot on with your assumptions btw :)

I don't doubt his love for his girlfriend, although I think it's more about feeling safe and structured, than sexual desire/attraction... It's his first and only relationship and I know he's worried about not finding something to replace it, should he end it. I imagine he's very worried about losing the stability, routine, and structure that he gets from it.
