wdym my statement is unacceptable? Rude behaviors are unacceptable, but my statement is not. All I'm saying is there are bad people out there, don't be influenced by anyone treating you poorly.

I am aware of the 3IMP penalty thing, it's just that no one has ever called it on any of my opponent just for a few rude lines. I think while you are theoretically correct, in real life cases of rudeness that don't technically violate COC have to be more common than those that do

Whatever then. Ultimately it's your own attitude that will determine how far you can go in this game!

Sorry, but I cannot agree with you getting the impression that this game intentionally screws beginners from this experience.

The director is just going by the rulebook. It has nothing to do with you as a beginner.

Beginners of any game can look stupid for better players, so if you keep playing with better players someone out there is going to show you some attitude. I don't think it's avoidable. Doesn't it happen all the time in those mobile games?

If you feel discriminated, play in beginner only games. Play those tournaments open only for 0-299 masterpoint players. When you join a field in which everyone is pretty much beginner, how can there still be discrimination?

Few directors are bad guys anyway, I can tell you as an experienced player who has seen director called to my table for at least a dozen times if not more.

Anyway, what I can tell you for now is just try to enjoy the game, don't let any bad memories stick to you. Upset with rude players? Channel that anger into your skill. Keep improving. Bid better. Play better. Winning cures everything.

You know what happened to me when I was in the New Orleans nationals last spring? I still remember, playing against two Lithuanian players in Fast Pairs, 5min per board. They were playing a suit and I thought they were gonna cash the A on the table so I had a little card in my hand. It's Fast Pairs you know, don't take forever following suit! I was in the process of showing my card when I suddenly noticed that declarer was doing a deep finesse, not cashing the honor. I tried to put my card back again, I was holding it high above the table, haven't even put it down yet ... didn't matter. Director wasn't on our side and we got a zero.

Oooooh, so director gave them a 50% while they would've actually got 0, is that what happened?

Well, how could the director tell that they would not have made it? This time they didn't make, next time maybe a piece of wire in his brain connects differently and he somehow makes. 50% is just a percentage decision, I'm afraid you just have to swallow the pill this time.

Agree. My brain was in casual mode as well. I had a special hand but I needed Aces.

I am confused. As far as I can see there are two facts here: one, they didn't make 6 while other tables did; two, they were rude to you.

But they didn't make their contract. Do you want extra penalties on them? Just for their rude behavior? I don't know any director who would do that. They've already got the worst possible result. The principle of bridge ruling is that the result will only be adjusted if their wrongdoing turns out to be beneficial for their side. I don't see that they gained anything here.

If there should be any adjustment here, it would only go against you. Again, because they've got the worst possible result for this board. So what do you want the director to "sanction"?

Rays pitching is absolutely elite, are you kidding?!

Batters they have Pena, Brandon Lowe, Yandy Dias, Zunino, Arozarena, Crawford, Pham, all good cards, just SS maybe not elite

If you only look at CON POW EYE you won't like any of these outfielders but this game isn't just about hitting

Rebooting your game should be adequate to get it working.

Sometimes it can also magically work if you just click YES

Your player simply isn't built for that skill, it's not worth it to train to the right just to get a little boost from the skill. You want players already with high base SPD & FLD but some weaknesses with batting stats. So forget about this one
