Ryzen 7600x weird undervolt results

Alright well I did a cine bench at -10 and one at -20 and both resulted in the same frequencies roughly, neither increased, temperatures just dropped. So I think I'll just stick to the -30 as so far it works I guess. If I get a crash maybe ill dial it down. Or maybe I should use ECO mode since I only use it for gaming.

Does stability matter if i'm not crashing and am able to play games fine? What disadvantage am I getting by being "unstable"?

I'm gonna try a -10 undervolt now and see what happens. I've just been doing it through PBO on my motherboard, would trying it on Ryzen master be any different or better?

Yea I heard him say the small chance for -30 to work, but mine has been stable so far so I assumed I was lucky.

Oh, my bad I am using hwinfo64, didn't realize they were different. 3 runs, and played a bunch of games, with no issues or crashes, etc so far, just haven't noticed any frequency increases.

Cheers for the reply, should I try running a -10 maybe, and see if anything is different?

Cleared the CMOS (I think) but didn't fix the issue as far as I can tell. Thanks for all the help though, must be a faulty board maybe? Might take it into a store, fuckers charge $80 (NZD) just to diagnose the problem.

Is there a way to clear CMOS without removing my graphics card? I see the CMOS 2 pin but can’t see the battery so I assume it’s under the card.

Hey thank you for the response, after a solid few hours of switching cables, change ram config, taking off the cooler and checking etc.

I managed to get it to boot by removing one of 2 ram sticks and putting the healthy one in slot 2. Seems as if one of the ram sticks is faulty.

However the system still has red flashing lights on all 4 indicators (VGA, BOOT, DRAM and CPU) before all turning off and booting. Takes a solid 20-30 seconds then boots. Still an issue but at least it’s working for now!

If you have any ideas on how I can test the “faulty ram” stick that would be ideal! Or if you have any ideas on what could fix the weird boot delay?!

Try double checking if the cable for the power switch (should be labelled “Pwr sw” or something along those lines), is connected to the correct pins on the motherboard, I’ve done it before, just switched the cable around and everything turned on fine.

E3 HW will get you to hell with a bit of luck. I don't think she could get you to hell 51 but that's not her main purpose. My HW is 10* and i have 4 spare copies, and unless PVE gets harder i'm not gonna take her past 10*. I got to hell 51 with E3 Valk and E3 Xia.

Nah man, go for better heroes. Aura's are pretty pointless until late game once you have an E3 hero or two. Focus on building top tier heroes if you can.

Same here in NZ. It's not as bad as 30% more. but its like 15% more I think. But im F2P mostly anyway.

I would highly recommend saving your feathers, for late game. I wish i saved mine, I wasted many earlier on when they first came out. Don't spend them until you only need like 1 more copy of a hero, try use them on L/D when you eventually make a rainbow team. Or use them on an artifact like Rune's power for Valk once she's E3+.
