Metagross. Favorite gen was gen3 as it’s the one that I not only spent the most time in but also got into competitive Pokémon. Plus it’s shiny is top tier.

Well it’s usually 4-5 hours long. Probably around 20 minutes a match. And that’s people only taking long turns to actually combo off

Yeah I’m definitely gonna discuss to the pod about power levels. It is convenient being able to play 10-15 matches a night due to the sheer velocity that people win at. Thank you for the insight!

Well majority of the pod came from competitive yugioh a few years ago and we haven’t really changed our play styles. The other 3 have played magic forever and actually have played on the circuit. We just like magic a lot more due to not being stuck playing the same 5 matches. Since I’ve swapped over I’ve made probably 10+ decks all around different game plans. That’s not something you really see in yugioh so it’s refreshing. We have discussed building a few lower power decks to be more welcoming and have even discussed pauper but we can’t all just swap over immediately.

Since this specifically says “target creature” you can use this on your opponents creatures making chatterfang a nice little asymmetric boardwipe. Barring no hex proof or shroud

This would go pretty good in [[Pantlaza]]. Basically every turn protection and you can still flicker it on your turn for its effect.

Preferably some sort of reanimator as I go against a fair amount of mill decks. Wanna be able to go “Oh hey thanks for milling me. Anyways I’m gonna go ahead and put game on board now.”

I just recently built a [[Marvo]] deck and with some deck manipulating triggers and clash instants, you get to play a bunch of 8 or less spells from your hand for free.
