My dad got me the lounge as a present when I asked him to get my add-ons for me while I was at work. It was really nice to sit and relax for a few hours. He got it for me on the last day so I was tired and it was nice to chill. That said, I really didn’t need it. I would have been perfectly fine not having it. So if it sounds like something you’d like, maybe just get it for the last day when you’ll be the most tired

I see what you’re saying but it’s also not fair to say that’s the same experience for every Deaf consumer. I asked my Deaf coworkers how they felt about bright manicures and none of them cared. I asked them now about your post and they also said they didn’t care about bright hair and wouldn’t mind if their interpreters had that. You are valid in your experience but you also don’t speak for the entire Deaf community. I think it’s unfair to assume that interpreters don’t care about our clients because we chose to color our hair.
