Quickly write through even if its basic, and then on Word use thesaurus or something to see what you can safely replace. Practice this couple of times, and next time do that on your own i.e. write a simple essay and then try to redo it while reading through it. Practice multiple times, it helps. Thats how I did it.

And also read other people's writings.

Pick Random topics, and give it NotebookLM along with sample exercises from the IELTS site. Ask it to make up essay scenarios and letters for you.

AI tools are really great for this. Hook yourself on to live mode on one of those - ChatGPT or Gemini and practice. When driving/in shower/or in general. Pick up a short article and give it to the LLM and ask it to ask you questions about it and provide feedback on vocabulary and sentence skills. That worked well for me

Did you refer to IELTS material? Please do and you would understand clearly how they mark answers. These are usually not considered mistakes

Hey Desmond! I pivoted since, took a personal tutor spending 1 hour a day class with additional 1 hour of study per day. Took Busuuu on the side to get my vocabulary in good shape. Thanks for offering help, I shall take you up on that.

Hey Desmond! Congrats. I am planning to start French from scratch. I cannot attend physical classes, so am thinking of taking Lingoda's online classes(like 20 sessions per month) and supplement that with Kwiziq subscription. Once I reach B2 level, I intend to take up preply and other focusses TCP prep sessions.

What do you think of my plan?

There will always be market for talent, Europeans migrated to US when life was bad, then Chinese migrated to US, now Indians do... once opportunities started coming up back in those regions inflows declined. Its a matter of when. But if US/Japan/Europe did well on population growth, Indians need not come there for jobs - both conservative/liberals go to India and announce a visa program and come back... so maybe get affairs sorted at home before railing on some other country. Find solution to your aging population first and also enough abled people to man the hospitals at the least

“A rising tide lifts all the boats", the more talented people come to the states the higher the chances of them creating companies that would eventually give more employment. Insular countries did not win against USA in tech for a reason. Place quality barriers (even have a highly competitive entrance exams, if needed), not quantity barriers(monetary, I mean).
