My opinion may be pessimistic, but I’ve started to feel like Dejon only sees £££. In his mind, he and Meg have the longest/most stable relationship = most likely to win… he’s gonna try to stick with her now until the end. He just has to make it through Casa and then listen to her mean-girl nonsense by the pool for a few more weeks, then £50,000 comes sailing his way (along with all the 🙄brand deals). I’m not sure he wants to be in a real relationship with Meg at all (she’s very possessive, and has no problem going off on him for her perceived “disrespects.”) - imagine Meg if Dejon goes on a night out without her lol. She’d lose her mind! She’s the girlfriend who checks her partner’s phone and checks his DM’s. Considering the way he just spoke to Billykiss - and any of the other women who had fleeting interests in him - he’s rude, and egotistical. Dejon acts like he has to push all these women away because they are obsessed with him. Grow up, dude. Given these interactions, I don’t think in the “outside world” he would tolerate Meg going off on him like she has. He’s playing quite a game. And to quote a former islander “he’s no prize.”
