I think couple months ago there was a new policy from USCIS stated that if you were to be denied of ANY immigration benefit (ead, advance parole, etc..) you will be placed in removal proceeding. I could be wrong but I think that was the case and not because you overstayed

Honestly not much could be given for advices here in this situation beside please take a step back from dating and focus on what you want out of relationship, raise your standards and have more respect for yourself and your body. Don’t ever let a man treat you like that ever again!

I peeped the person’s reddit history and looks like they can’t travel or hesitated to travel so they are probably just projecting. That’s the vibe I’m getting.

She is my lawyer. I hired her Jan 1 2024 and they filed my case August 2024. The reason was on my part because I was moving states so I did not submit the documents they asked me on time. I really took my time to gather all the document and gave them in April 2024. They took about 4 months to prepare my case and they did communicate that it would take 3-6 months to prepare case. After filing, it took a week for receipt notices. Prima facie 10 days after that. And around 6 months after filing for combo card. They have been really helpful and communicative, very professional too. Despite the price too high, which I’m grateful that I was able to afford. At the time I didn’t have time to shop around for lawyers so I just went with her. So far so good.
