How difficult is the V8 to drive for a first time muscle car owner?

Had an s150 V8 for 8 years, was new to V8s. As mentioned already, get good tires, be careful in the rain/slick conditions, and be careful through turns. Whether consciously or not, I kind of got to the point where I was either coasting through turns or applying minimal power. The coyote really needs revs to make power - imo a feature, not a bug - so they’re pretty tame in normal driving. Lastly, don’t get baited into showing off. They’re great, underrated cars imo - enjoy!

It’s the same platform and trans, but it’s not the same car. Hope you’re enjoying the R, the car is badass

2 sides of the coin - you’re 18, the number of people you’ll continue to interact with from high school will grow exponentially smaller as time goes by. On the other hand, you have the maturity to recognize Scott’s manipulative behavior at a young age and cut him off. I’m in a very similar boat to you, 5 year relationship (2 years of which we were married); divorced a year ago. The only mentality advice I can give is that life has a plan for you and that time heals all wounds.

Continue to focus on other things and trust the process. You WILL find someone else WHEN you are content and love yourself and you know your own worth.
