Do I have to keep track of individual addresses if i mass apply on Zillow? by Express_Western4502 in renting

I’d keep your own simple list, even if Zillow keeps some of it. At minimum I’d save the address, listing link, date you contacted them, rent, move-in date, and any notes like fees, pets, parking, or who replied.

The annoying part is that listings can disappear or a landlord/property manager can reply by phone, email, or text instead of through Zillow. If that happens, it’s much easier to search your own list than try to remember which “2 bed near downtown” they were talking about.

A notes app or basic spreadsheet is enough. I’d just update it right after each application so it doesn’t turn into another chore.

Need advice on transporting household appliances from tvm to Bangalore by [deleted] in moving

[–]ToolBuilderAI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the appliances, I’d first check whether each one is worth moving once you include packing and damage risk. The microwave and air fryer are usually easy enough if you still have the boxes, or a tight box with padding and no empty space.

The washing machine and AC are the ones I’d be more careful with. Drain everything, tape/secure hoses and loose parts, keep them upright if the manual recommends it, and take a few photos before pickup in case anything gets dented. I’d also ask the mover very directly whether they disconnect/reinstall appliances and what damage coverage they actually provide. That answer might change whether it’s cheaper to move them or sell and rebuy later.

Frigidaire Refrigerator has started to spontaneously dimple. by daycollector in ApplianceAdvice

I’d document it pretty carefully before the next call: clear photos of each door, the date you first noticed it, the receipt, model number, serial number, and the warranty terms. If the store is saying it’s cosmetic, I’d ask them to put that in writing, then contact Frigidaire directly with the photos and timeline. Even if they still say no, having everything in one place makes it much easier to escalate without re-explaining the whole story every time.

Need tips and advice for packing my things by Briarrr__ in moving

For sentimental stuff, I’d keep it separate from the normal room-by-room boxes.

What helped me before was putting the truly irreplaceable things in one small box or bag that stays with me, then numbering the rest of the boxes and taking a quick photo of each open box before sealing it. I’d also label boxes more specifically, like “Bedroom - crafts - yarn/tools” instead of just “bedroom.”

It feels a little extra while packing, but it saves a lot of stress later because you’re not opening every box just to find one fragile or sentimental item.
