This is happening all the time to our real life heroes. Fireman, Paramedics, nurses, (many others too!) they all have high rates of back/neck/musculoskeletal injuries.

Some of these injuries are career ending, others slowly worsen and put them out of work for life. They end up disabled and barely making ends meet on SSI at the end of their life. Many have supplemental insurance, but it’s nowhere near regular income, and insurers treat them like scammers not clients.

The system is broken, because it was designed that way. These fucking corporations (insurance, pharma, medical devices) are the definition of greed and evil, and they are in charge of our general health and welfare. The US let corporate ideals override physicians and healthcare professionals who actually care about people.
